Utter dog shite! Paul Cook needs to take a long hard look at his selections and his substitutions because today’s really took the biscuit? We are going to find ourselves in a relegation battle if he doesn’t address the blatantly obvious problems that he is befitting us! Uwe Rosler anyone?
7 October 2018 at 4:12 am #172268A relegation battle is what we are in now. Survival is the ONLY aim these season.
7 October 2018 at 12:34 pm #172279The first target for any promoted side should be to finish one place above the relegation zone – anything else is a bonus.
7 October 2018 at 2:12 pm #172289The first target for any promoted side should be to finish one place above the relegation zone – anything else is a bonus.Correct mutty, especially if we are a very small fish in a massive pond.

Correct mutty, especially if we are a very small fish in a massive pond.[/quote]
Correct on both counts.
7 October 2018 at 7:40 pm #172301One point away from play offs anyone?
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!8 October 2018 at 7:33 am #1723092 goals in last 6 games…..0 in last 4 away……humiliating spineless defeat in 1 of our seasons biggest games…stuffed by Qpr/Preston when propping league up anyone !!!
8 October 2018 at 12:19 pm #172310The first target for any promoted side should be to finish one place above the relegation zone – anything else is a bonus.Set your site’s high hey, let’s finish 21st. I want us to finish as high as possible and I don’t think anyone at the club what be happy at finishing 21st at the off start of the season.
What would be a good Cup run ? Fifth round or win it ?.For me we could have gone into this season as serious contenders for at least a play off place if this Hong Kong brat pack had er got thier finger out in the summer and given Cook funds to strengthen the squad.
8 October 2018 at 1:14 pm #172312Totally agree….I don’t buy all this dumbing us down “happy with 21st” crap, happy clapper rhetoric. Beat 3 of the potential promotion contenders Villa/Stoke/Wednesday then downhill since, yet some posters seem happy with the dross served up since. No reason why we cant push for promotion cos the top 10 places so tight it’s clear so far this league is wide open. Why not aim high ? instead of being dicked in front of 4000 travelling fans and just brushing it aside as “I’ll be happy with 21st ,anything else is a bonus “..Without doubt this farcical takeover will have a huge impact on our season with the Jan window looming and the possibility of losing Powell……Christ it now gone beyond a joke…can only think there is some major stumbling block like maybe they not shown colour of their money.
8 October 2018 at 1:50 pm #172313Of course the club will be happy with 21st because our only goal is survival. Yes everybody wants to finish as high up the league as possible but each and every place above 21st is a bonus.
If we finish 21st, I can guarantee the club will be celebrating.
8 October 2018 at 1:52 pm #1723142 goals in last 6 games…..0 in last 4 away……humiliating spineless defeat in 1 of our seasons biggest games…stuffed by Qpr/Preston when propping league up anyone !!!Everyone has a bad run browny lad. Look at Stoke at start of season, or as you said QPR. We will get out of it dont worry just like we did last year when everyone wanted Cook out after xmas because we drew 3 games 0-0.
8 October 2018 at 2:52 pm #172315We need to start getting points away build some confidence back in the team not just scraping points at home.
8 October 2018 at 3:04 pm #172316I said a few games back that someone is due to give us a good dicking because we have looked ropey at the back but I didn’t think it would be North End! It is only the lack of quality in front of goal from our recent opponents prior to Preston that has prevented the aforementioned ‘Dicking’! Some tough fixtures just around the corner and Cook has got a job on for sure!
8 October 2018 at 4:35 pm #172318Spot on there fil.

I doubt it, every club wants success. Also, I don’t think the pishtake gang from Hong Kong will be thinking that
