Wonder if we hear anything from the elusive
Talal very soon27 January 2023 at 12:44 pm #198172You’d hope so, I just hope those in power within “our” club understand we are concerned were were heading and that it wasn’t that long ago we faced extinction so us fans are bound to worry what’s going on.
3 managers and a 3pt suspended sentence hanging over us in roughly 18 month ?,
Once scorned twice shy you might say.
As I’ve said before
Be honest, if we’ve no money then say so. Most fans won’t moan we’ll understand better and crack on with it not whine why have we not signed anyone.
I just hope they know what their doing because at this rate 3000 Tics travelling to Daisy Hill is looking closer by the day27 January 2023 at 1:03 pm #198174All sorts rumour going about Boyce returning has a coach with maloney and barrow
27 January 2023 at 1:33 pm #198175Absolutely right decision following the wrong one in appointing him. He and his posse looked completely lost and the players looked likewise. The compensation packages probably final nail in the hope of some extra bodies through the door. Gelhardt was always a financial wet dream and the Burton lads negotiations stalled probably due to the impending sacking. I have same feeling about a “dog of war” short term appointment like Warnock. He certainly has the motivational skillset, experience to at least make us competitive. If its Maloney then so be it.F### all we can all do but get right behind him. Window activities could be over for us so ffs get some loan players back. Get shut of Fletcher, and replace him with Humphries….same applies to Mcgrath and Robinson. We need all the help we can get,and being we still paying part of their wage it’d be a cheap option. We have to do everything we possibly can to avoid the drop cos the financial implications and the route our owners could take are very concerning.
27 January 2023 at 1:44 pm #198176I think the 4 subs on Saturday showed he had no comprehension of the team or feelings of the fans.
For weeks Power and Keane have under performed on the pitch, yet he takes off arguably our best two players that day, instead of them.
27 January 2023 at 2:58 pm #198179He claimed he took Hughes off because he started to look abit leggy but McClean looks leggy every game

Graham Barrow joined Gary Caldwell at Exeter just a few weeks ago.
27 January 2023 at 7:22 pm #198183Hopefully someone goes a begging and groveling to a proper manager like Chris Wilder but please not a Martinez old boy and rooky Manager like Maloney.
27 January 2023 at 8:04 pm #198186Shouldn’t have been appointed. Critchley was the one, had he been in charge we would be 4 points clear not 4 points from safety
28 January 2023 at 6:38 am #198192I was one who thought Kolo Toure’s appointment was a gamble worth taking but the lack of ideas and players with little or no interest soon made it apparent to all things were not working out for him.
Some football clubs are short term unfixable and I think ours is one. The lack of investment, the loaning out players then replace with loan players still baffles me to this day.
We simply replaced not improved our squad and for me with players no better than are all on loan. Considering the state of our club those players should never have been given loans to the end of the season, 6 months then agree to extend but not having an emergency recall has left us short all over.
I’m begining to not care, I wish I did but I’m slowly losing patience and faith because as a fan we trudge along and out our faith in the powers that be.It’s turning into last minute desperation tactics with the vast majority of our transfer funds been spent on managers/ backroom staff wages pay offs.
Kolo will get 3.5 years wages along with others which won’t be cheap. When Maloney is appointed our new manager that will be 3 managers in as many months surely not many clubs can say that.I hope Maloney can work magic and I he has a Harry Potter wand and not a Tommy Cooper one

I truly hope Maloney can work magic and he’s carrying a Harry Potter wand and not a Tommy Cooper one
28 January 2023 at 2:58 pm #198201What a joke this is becoming. Another novice appointment.
Whats wrong with appointing a proper manager?
One whose done a few years in non league or lower leagues. One with bags of experience.
Doubt this latest gimmick will work but I’ll give him a few weeks.
Under bloody whelming indeed!28 January 2023 at 4:21 pm #198203What a joke this is becoming. Another novice appointment.

Under bloody whelming indeed!Surely you jest Donny ?
I was on the brink of quitting after 55 years loyal service and now I am re-ignited after listening to his interview and his article http://www.coachesvoice.com/cv/shaun-maloney-interview-celtic-belgium-martinez-rodgers/
Oh and your old mate Graham Barrow is back to help save us; so let the good times roll !!!!!!!!!!!!!28 January 2023 at 5:45 pm #198205No experience Ally. Martinez old boy so most likely play his dog shite brand of football yet again.
29 January 2023 at 11:32 am #198208When Kalamity Kolo got the sack on Thursday it was like winning the lottery, when I heard Maloney had been appointed on Saturday it felt like someone had robbed me of my winnings.
Another ridiculous decision by the hierarchy at the club, very underwhelming indeed!
Fuck the EFL
