Does not matter who is in charge if the board don’t back them we will fail. This week Gelhardt wanted to come to Wigan but ended up at Sunderland the lad from Burton was coming but it looks like we were quibbling over the £500,000 transfer fee and lost out to Bolton. If they had backed Richardson in the summer we would not be in this position now. They have to back Maloney ,let’s see what excuses they come up with this week.

Maloney and the players alike need our support. It’s not fault of the last 2 managers the powers that be need to shoulder a big chunk of the blame with little funding.
At least Maloney knows the club, what it’s about so let’s give him a chance and get behind him.
To be honest, I’m not sure Mourinho or Pep could sort this mess out with the current squad we have.
I just hope he can muster up enough wins to keep us up but personally I think it’s an impossible task
