Look, we honestly don’t know if it was Lang’s choice or the clubs or a bit of both but with 18 months left he could have easily waited till the summer and had a far far bigger choice of clubs to go to so Im leaning to towards it was Lang’s choice.
He might have simply needed a move and if he’s going to move then now’s the best time for the club as we can command a fee with 18 months left on his contract.
Well, either way, whoever’s choice it was good luck to the lad and no doubt he’ll be back at some point. I was a big fan of his, I always thought he gave it his all and he always played with passion and he’ll make sure Pompey go up
