And please dont make things up as if you are quoting me.
Wigan Athletic have no god given right to anything. Since 1978 we have had to fight tooth and nail to get anything in football, we all know that.
I hope Cook and the boys treat the game the same as if it was Preston, Rotherham, or any other team. And I am sure we will do. We’ve a top manager and a very good squad.Go, be clinical, show the watching country that we are a decent side.
1 December 2017 at 9:06 pm #163797I agree with u vat, never had a problem with away supporters in our end, with a behaviour caveat. For cup games I would either give em both ends or the side if it is a big following, I am not precious about having to sit in my own seat for cup games.

You lucky bastard.
2 December 2017 at 2:51 am #163824But from tv evidence we clearly didn’t sell all our allocation! Why the ticket raffle then?I think it was probably more likely that they weren’t allowed to sell all the tickets in that part of the seated area, just like we are only allowed to allocate 4600 out of 5400 for the North Stand.

Don’t think so ! We didn’t sell up !
2 December 2017 at 3:02 am #163829With some half decent communication and organisation we could have sold out without a problem.

Whether we did or not, we were a lot nearer selling out our tickets than they were.
They sold just over 2000 out of nearly 5000 available tickets for the biggest game in their history. I wonder how many they will bring to the replay.
They are a mickey mouse club, who have every chance of going the way of Colne Dynamos once the Blackpool saga is sorted and the fans and Chairman go back to their parent club.2 December 2017 at 3:27 am #163834I believe we did sell out lots of spaces not taken up for whatever reason by Fylde. Hard to judge when we are behind the goal and in some seats as well

Lovely little set up, but as you say once Blackpool are sorted, itll go pear shaped. They were shite on the pitch too. Definite penalty, mind. But apart from that they were shite and its a disgrace we didnt beat them..and a massive wake up call. We arent that good. We play ball about alright, but no final ball or enough end product. One up front….I despair. Unless you have a Messi or a big bloke like a Lukaku, forget it. Will Grigg is Will Grigg. It isn’t him.
2 December 2017 at 4:12 am #163844Watching that tonight was a duplicate of watching the pre-season friendly at Southport.
But at least it was a better approach than what we showed for the Stanley game. -
