According to the Makem 2400 visitors came from Blackburn but a couple of days ago Makem quoted 2240 from Blackburn. Where did the extra 160 come from? Did they turn up Sunday when there was no match on?
17 August 2016 at 8:28 pm #150016You do not get included if you don’t attend due to health and safety reasonsDon’t be saying things like that…..how else do the rugby inflate their attendances.
17 August 2016 at 9:18 pm #150019Quite simple most rugby fans require three seats to fit their large asses

Blackburn brought 2240 out of 12,216. Leaves 9,976 made up of ST + Casuals.
Birmingham brought 1307 out of 11,182. Leaves 9,875 made up of ST + Casuals.
ST number constant in both cases, as clubs report seats sold, rather than turnstile clicks.
£5 less and 101 casuals less. Net result is the club lose £505 on ticket fees alone by charging less, as the number of casual fans has gone down.

The biggest game on the Wigan rugby calendar in two days and this dickhead is moidering about Latics attendances.
Will YOU be attending the game on Friday? Thats usually when the part time fans show up.

Nothing was reported.
Repeated foul language (even with asterisks) isn’t allowed.19 August 2016 at 1:47 pm #150058Friday at New Springfield in yet another home game against Saints is also a day when all the local Manure, Hubcappers, Citeh and Everton shirt wearing bandwagon jumpers squeeze into their Norweb shirts and become Egg fans.
If those lot could show their loyalty to their local football side we could fill the place.
Tuesday was three quid cheaper on the night at £24 Mutty Shite and coming days after casual fans had to fork out £27 and so is hardly a scientific way to measure a pricing policy but as an egg Mon you wouldn’t understand as most of your casual fans are on free tickets including the extra Norweb wearing chubbies tonight. Well who would pay for that shite anyway ffs!!!19 August 2016 at 3:02 pm #150059Friday at New Springfield in yet another home game against Saints is also a day when all the local Manure, Hubcappers, Citeh and Everton shirt wearing bandwagon jumpers squeeze into their Norweb shirts and become Egg fans.

1 – According to everyone on here most Wigan rugby fans come from Bolton Preston or Leyland so their local football team wouldn’t be Latics.
2 – Latics isn’t even your local team Donny so you’re kinda shittin on that point.
3 – Utd are actually on Sky tonight so the Utd armchairs amongst the rugby brethren will just stay in the pub and watch both games on TV.
4 – Can we stop the childish attendance crap and turning every topic to rugby please? This is a WAFC forum so lets talk about them. Mutty, if you want to stir shit then stick to the WEP page.
19 August 2016 at 4:34 pm #150061Good points Egg. Yes Chorley is my local team but I was brought up on Latics as Coppull folk tended to follow either Chorley or Latics and my Father and Grandfather were staunch Latics.
I would say myself the Rugby do attract a lot of support from outside Wigan. People in Barrow and Whitehaven fill their rugby shirts well just like their fans closer to and around Wigan. You are right their local team wouldn’t be Latics.
I didn’t know Utd were on TV tonight but as long as there are idiots like Smuts around no one will drop it. In fact attendance at matches is a major talking point amongst all fans but with us Latics fans it as always been used by many opponents, critics and haters of our great club as a stick to beat us with.
Thanks Egg your comments and points have been appreciated.19 August 2016 at 5:43 pm #150062Simple answer
Do what rugby forums do if latics fans go on their site talking shyte they ban us
But i think there is more to mutty than we know i think he might be a multi poster or even someone who as not used his own user name for a long while and i think the admins know more than they let on hence why he will not get banned19 August 2016 at 5:51 pm #150063Friday at New Springfield in yet another home game against Saints is also a day when all the local Manure, Hubcappers, Citeh and Everton shirt wearing bandwagon jumpers squeeze into their Norweb shirts and become Egg fans.

3 good points egg, but the last para on the 4th is horseshit. There was a sensible discussion going on about how best to price match tickets – then Bullshit & Chorley Boy decide to bring it down to a childish level. I never bring rugby into a discussion on here. – it’s the Neanderthals who still harbour 30 year grudges that do that. See above for examples!
