Would love a win at the weekend!
Been given Wigan and the draw by a confident L.Pool fan at work and would love to wipe the smile off his face.. Lets end there run, show some confidence going forward and keep up this scoring!

We will sit back and suffer on Saturday, my prediction is 3-0 liverpool. 1-0 before half time, a defender slips and an easy tap in for Kuyt, then 2 late goals as we finally come out of our half in the last 15 minutes.
Think we’ll get beat, for sure, but looking forward to the occasion, and hopefully another good performance from James McCarthy.
Might be the last time for a while, possibly EVER, that we play at Anfield, one of the true ‘cauldrons’ of British football.
Looking forward to a good few beers before and after. Make it a real ‘occasion’. :obscene-drinkingdrunk:
Do you ever post anything slightly positive? :teasing-blah: And with regards to not playing at anfield for a while i reckon Liverpool wont get relegated so we WILL see anfield again next season! :happy-cheerleadersmileyguy:

I actually considered it a very positive post!
What do you want me to post? “oh, we’ll go there and get a result”?
I don’t think that. And we won’t. So I am not going to post that.
…..and to call Anfield a cauldron you have definitely not been since we’ve got in the prem. Walk on at the beginning, walk on at the end and a muffled roar when they score and that is your cauldron. It comes a close second to Goodison Park as one of the poorest atmospheres in the prem. :shhh:

I’ve been 3 times since we’ve been in the Prem.
The first one, when we got done 3-0, Crouch scored.
The second was when we got done 2-0 Kuyt scored.
And the last time was 1-1 when Bramble scored.
Yes, ok, it’s awfully quiet on avearage league games. But bare in mind I’ve been on that ground when they played Olympiakos, when Gerrard scored that goal. (My mate had a ticket going spare) That night, was the greatest atmosphere I have ever heard on a football ground. 40,000 people singing ‘Fields Of Anfield Road’…..honest to god, it was unbelievable. The crowd ‘willed’ those goals in that night. And when Gerrard scored that goal….bloody hell, the stand I was in (upper Anfield Road) actually shook.
It’s a special ground, with special supporters. Please don’t try and say otherwise.

Ibet YOU’VE never been in an atmosphere like it, put it that way, mon cher.
Go and watch them every week then, Dave. You clearly don’t like watching Wigan anymore.
I’m with the posters who say the atmosphere at Liverpool has been crap every time we’ve been. If they were that good a set of fans, they wouldn’t have to wait for a do or die champions league game to get excited. Just cos it’s little Wigan, they should still get up for it.
