Let’s stop here, shall we. Find me where it actually said that.
No intention of justifyingexplaining myself to the hard of thinking Dave twins, but if you both keep lying Dave, I will have to continue to point it out.
Griffy’s been found out!
Griffy, Mr ‘I AM WIGAN’ is actually nothing more than the original ‘JCL’. Preaches on here to one and all, yet truth be known, he’s swapped sides more times than an Italian.
I suspected it all along, to be honest. Sudden interest when we got promoted. I wonder if the interest will wane, when we get relegated? No wonder you always play the ‘calmness’ card…..you know you can just find another team to follow!
There you go again, being a condescending tw@t to people.
‘Lord Cockney Latic’, aren’t you Griffy?
Your ultra defensive replies and the fact that you are so determind to prove otherwise, paints a picture of a desperate man. A desperate man who had been found out for what he really is. NOT the ‘No 1 Fan’ that he likes, and wants, people to believe he is.
I always suspected you of being a hanger on to our success, and now I am convinced. Go on, tell me you went religiously 1992-95………
You and 10,000 others.
Sheesh, those floodlights must’ve been wider than they looked.
It’s not the most riveting of topics, but to be honest, it’s a slow afternoon anyway and I’ve nothing better to do other than polish my shoes.
And, at the risk of being accused of being Griff’s batman again, I don’t think JCL is the right phrase for someone who started watching the club in 1978.
Anyway, keep it up, because my shoes are lovely and shiny and I’ve nothing else to do.
There you go again, being a condescending bad language to people.
No, just you really.
And there’s really nothing for me to defend. You make wild inaccurate allegations. I ask you to point out the proof. You ignore and repeat said inaccurate allegations.
You’re making your self look sillier and sillier by the post, and as we are probably boring the arse off everybody else by now, I’m drawing a line under it, as entertaining as it has been.

Griffy’s a FRAUD.
“Wild, inaccurate, allegations”, that you first mentioned YOURSELF. The proof is in what you posted.
I’m not making myself look silly at all. I’m making you look a FRAUD….because you ARE a fraud.
I’ll leave it now, sound in the knowledge that I have highlighted the reality of what kind of ‘supporter’ you are.

He was a JCL back then because he only latched on to Latics due to success. And when the hard times came, he walked away. hasn’t answered if he was there in 1992-95 yet.
As you’ll remember from the original thread, months ago, I played Saturday football from 1988-1997. Hardly watched any football at all during that period. I’ll re-post that paragraph later if it helps.
But still supported Latics at that time.
Keep ’em coming Dave, although it’s getting a bit tedious now.
Oh, and shock horror on the Wigan rugby thing – I still support them today, though not as actively as I used to

Did you not get what I meant, Standish?
I got what you meant, but JCL stands for Johnny Come Lately, and 1978 is 33 year ago.
I don’t know either of you two from Adam, but I’d say Griff has Vat on the ropes and Vat is swinging aimlessly and landing nothing.
How do you work that out, you tool? All I’ve done is highlight what Griffy himself, said and posted. So button it. Oh and……

….and there we go. If Otter thought I was on the ropes, well i’m sorry, but I’ve just come out of the corner and Griff has left his guard right open…..
So you NEVER went between 1988 and 1997? But you still “Supported Latics” did you?
How did you do that? If you never went and never paid a dime into the club? Your definition of support must differ from mine.
How convenient that it coincided with some of our toughest times ever, yet you decided to come back when we won the Third Division title in 1997, eh? It’s all falling into place nicely now. No excuses. You can tell yourself that you stayed away because you played football, but in truth you stayed away because we were shyte.
Thank you.
. :angry-boxing: ..and Griffy’s on the canvas, totally knocked out.
You’ve just totally confirmed what I’ve said. Most of us could have ‘found’ excuses not to go in those hard days. But most of us didn’t. No,I rephrase that. Around 1500 of us, the ones who WERE there, didn’t.
I’ve nothing else to say. You’ve said it all. Bad times, and you didn’t want to know.

Stop being awkward.
He joined the bandwagon in 1978, because we suddenly had some success, and jumped off when times got hard.
Jumped on again in 1997, when we won the 3rd division. Conveniently missing the hard years of the late 80’s and early to mid 90’s.
I said he was ‘the original JCL’. Capiché?
If we are throwing accusations about was Dave from Skem not swapping shirts on the previous CL forum on Rivals from the Tics to Everton the last time he thought we were going down :o
And it began very much in the same manner slagging all posters off untill he vent that much anger he busted a bloodvessell and scurried off for a while .Only to reappear in different guises a bit like he’s doing now
