I’m sure the poster you are aiming your post at can defend himself but what is it exactly you’re looking for? A Latics fan to say that we have a fair weather and fickle section of our fanbase that can’t wait to see Chelsea/Liverpool etc at the DW but don’t find Rotherham as appealing? What do you think that the club could do about it other than accept the fact that the Wigan public are a fairly apathetic lot that probably wouldn’t turn up if it was free entry with a free pie and pint?

Bicky is a tool – full stop. But I would have thought the likes of Griff and fatboy would be a bit more grown up than that, and would have contributed to the threat in a more constructive way.
We are averaging 12000 at the moment after two games about right in my opinion if you compare to our first season in the championship back in 2002/03 this will be probably the core of latics fans who will stick with the club.
After eight out of nine seasons in the Premier league and facing top sides and top players in the world/Europe it is not surprising that attendances have slipped add to the fact that no European competition this season, Some may be picking matches or are unable to buy a season ticket like me through shift pattens mean’s I will attend only five home matches before Christmas maybe only 13 out of 23 home games
the fact remains at current levels of 12000 and with bigger games and teams to come to the DW we should be averaging near to 14000 by the end of the season

…I think our crowd was always going to drop. If we can average 14k then I’ll be quite happy with that. Think we’ll be more around the 12.5-13 mark though.
