    A strawpoll:

Who’s going to the United game?

Tickets will probably be £45 quid as they were for Reading.

Just interested to see what everyone thinks

    #153955

    Nope

    #153956

Yes. 3 of us – my grandson is very excited.

No way. This one is for the really loyal who never miss. Every respect to them.

              Fuck the EFL

I would imagine he is anything but

I went to the 3rd round game, but I won’t be paying more than £25-£30 for this one. More than likely on the TV so I will watch with my Utd supporting Uncle and annoy the “Wigan reds”

My son and grandson went to the Forest game. My grandson is 5, has had a Wigan season ticket for three years now, and went to Villa too (as well as Chesterfield, Rochdale and Fleetwood last season). He only misses midweek home games (at 5 it gets a bit late with school the following day). He is very excited as he has never been to Old Trafford and would love to see us beat United. He sees it very simply that we will beat them 2-1, and then there’s nothing stopping us winning the Cup again.

What are you implying? That we are closet United fans? I thought you’d stopped that nonsense. I of course had no need to reply, but I have. Are you satisfied?

I didn’t actually go to the game however, despite having bought a ticket. I have had a nasty attack of norovirus over the weekend. I am sure you don’t want all the details.

You thought i’d stopped what nonsense? Are the great unwashed not allowed to ask a moderator a question now?

                  Sorry i bothered.

You’re not asking me as a moderator, you’re asking personal questions to me about my family. What the f does it have to do with asking a moderator a question.
You didn’t just assume my family would be Wigan fans. You ask “is your grandson a united fan?”
Why (a) did you feel the need to ask anything, and (b) you didn’t even ask “how long has your grandson been a Wigan fan”?
Attack me, accuse me of being mutty as you did and I will take great offence. But don’t dare ever doubt my family’s allegiances.

As long as fans are willing to pay £35 to £45 then greedy clubs will continue to charge it.

                    I wont be donating a penny towards Rooney’s £250,000 A WEEK wages.

Was there any need to bring that up? You sound like a right spoiled brat.

                      Grow up ffs!

At £45 a ticket and the chances of it being on TV being very high, only the most loyal fans or the very rich ones will be in attendance for this one, which is a shame.

All the other clubs seem to charge a very reasonable figure for FA Cup ties in January – why is it that Man Utd feel the need to continually fleece supporters?
