If you look at the Reading Ticket page for that game, it only states the non-member price, which is the upper end of ticket pricing structure. This is a non-season ticket holder for us.
By quoting this they say they give a 25% subsidy on this price…. it didn’t say how many actually qualified for this, it may have been none as we don’t know if the tickets reached the stage where any non-members/non-season ticket holders could buy them.
Wait until the prices come out, I think you will find that season ticket holders at Wigan won’t be paying anywhere near the £45 that is being banged about.
Reading were being canny by quoting the maximum saving that their fans were getting, not the minimum or average…… wouldn’t surprise me if the amount we will be paying is nearer the £30 mark than the £45 one (for season ticket holders).
FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that

I’ve a feeling you might be right.
It’ll be a nice gesture from the club.

12 January 2017 at 6:47 pm #154047Shame the cheapest tickets don’t go to the regulars who travel away each week of the season. Next batch should go to the ones who were arsed to go in round three.
Anyway the pricing is up to United and our ST holders will get first dabs whether they went against Forest or not.12 January 2017 at 7:07 pm #154048Shame the cheapest tickets don’t go to the regulars who travel away each week of the season. I’m betting most of those who travel away regularly are season ticket holders only – so if you are a season ticket holder and have a history of away ticket purchase, then yes you should have priority.
12 January 2017 at 7:30 pm #154049Cheapest tickets should go to season ticket holders with a 3rd round ticket stub!
Fuck the EFL
12 January 2017 at 7:46 pm #154050Cheapest tickets should go to season ticket holders with a 3rd round ticket stub! Why?
What happens if you paid cash and have no stub as you through it a way?
Why should you get one above a guy who goes home and away but missed the cup match for some reason may bee out there control?
Do you actually think we will sell out?12 January 2017 at 7:47 pm #154051And yeah I went the game and Im going to this one

Why are you worried who gets preference? It’s going to be more than £20 so you won’t be going.

“We may never get the chance to see Latics play at Old Trafford again” What a load of bullshit!
Fuck the EFL
12 January 2017 at 10:54 pm #154058U think wel get to the prem again???
So what if you didnt go forest? I didnt miss a game in 2013 inc Bournemouth away. That make me a better fan than someone who onlu went to Everton onwards? No.
Utd away is a bigger draw for all fans than Forest that simple and to get a ticket you will have be a wigan fan so blows your “everyones a utd fan” argumant
12 January 2017 at 11:17 pm #154060Same thing applies to the third round as the fourth round no matter who you play. If you want to go then go and if you don’t want to go, don’t go.
Easy. Both matches involve Latics and neither of the two ties is any more important than the other but for the first time in a cup game I would say, let the youngsters and fringe players have the experience of playing at Old Trafford and save the regulars for the league games coming up.12 January 2017 at 11:30 pm #154061Same thing applies to the third round as the fourth round no matter who you play. If they take a hiding on TV it could ruin them.
12 January 2017 at 11:57 pm #154062Sorry Egg but it was just a way we could show contempt to that club. After all they were probably the first of the big clubs to treat the league and fa cups with contempt.
I understand what you mean so we could compromise and play our fringe and squad players and any trialists. We will take over a million quid off them and that’s all that matters really. -
