SDW you have me confused. You say nobody has heard of WW,yet you post on here a match report soon after a freindly . You also know how many season tickets they have sold. Are you one of the knobheads from Wigan today `Harry Fisher or Rotten`

Quite right, Sodit. I like rugby league. But I hate their fans. The only thing that winds me up more than a rugby fan is a daft Latics fan who can’t stop going on about them.

                    booming game bert

I wonder if the WEP report on this in their daily edition of propaganda posts…..It must have slipped their minds or they’re choosing NOT to write anything even slightly negative about their favorite game in the wholey widey worldy……R.Banks & Sons are looking to sponsor a sport that has something in common with it’s own business…..

I could be a real smart a**e here and point out that this expression which may seem meaningless is actually based on the older English use of the word “proof” to mean “test”. The exception TESTS the rule, which makes far more sense.

The other use of this is “the proof of the pudding is in the eating”.. ie the test…..is in the eating.

                    But I won’t be a smart a**e – and I won’t mention it. ;)
