Just seen on a tweat and Nob End have been given a FULL allocation of 4700 seats.
I must be missing something here as the North and South Stands both hold 5400 so why the reduced capacity. 700 x £25 would come in handy for our club so what is going on and why?
Now I detest Nob End but they will travel so to cash in why not give them 8000 tickets for the East and re-locate our fans to the South and North. Same goes for the Villa and Leeds games.24 January 2017 at 10:44 pm #154542I dont think the East stand ST holders would mind one bit!
Fuck the EFL
24 January 2017 at 11:17 pm #154544I wouldn’t think they would mind Bullit after all it would be extra money in the coffers to help keep ST prices down again next season.
It’s done at Ewood for big away followings for their ST holders and works well.
We have plenty seats and they need using.24 January 2017 at 11:18 pm #154545I dont think the East stand ST holders would mind one bit!Precisely.
If you think we’re moving just so Nob End can have bigger support getting behind their team then you have a strange view on life.24 January 2017 at 11:25 pm #154547Come on East Standers, don’t be unreasonable about this, you would still be guaranteed a seat, you would just be looking at the pitch from a different angle and the Latics could cash in against the big clubs.
24 January 2017 at 11:33 pm #154548I’m afraid I can’t take anyone seriously if they resort to calling a team Nob End.
Nobbers – How old are you? Twelve??
As for the East Stand giving up their seats. No chance. Most ridiculous suggestion I’ve heard for years.
Bollocks to the money. Why would you want to increase Prestons support anyway? I’d be more concerned giving out free tickets to the local schools to increase our support.
24 January 2017 at 11:37 pm #154549I’m in the East stand ES3 but i’m a believer if your Nob end or who ever and have 4700 fans cheering you on you’ll try even harder for me the away team should get 1500 tickets max but that’s why i’m a poor business man.

24 January 2017 at 11:42 pm #154551Desperate times need desperate measures and oversized squads with overpaid players need to be financed. We get nowt from beer and pie sales and nowt from stadium sponsorship or stadium advertising so we need money in every way we can get it or ticket prices will rise.

Not a bad idea but logistically with the corporates in there it probably couldn’t work.
How about for starters, for a club that may sell out, let them sell out instead of having 700 empty seats!!25 January 2017 at 12:04 am #154553Our average home support is under ten thousand, so if the East Stand plan works then in future we could look at giving the North Stand aswell for really big games like Newcastle and Leeds etc. We might get a few sellouts doing that.
25 January 2017 at 12:16 am #154554There something dodgy in that Chorley water again ;)
They do it Blackburn though yes but I think the STs are well cheap for that reason.
25 January 2017 at 12:21 am #154557Next season if we stay up sorry there are no IFS, we will stay up there is every chance that the East stand could be the away stand like it used to be.

Our season tickets are very cheap in all stands, so a little bit of give and take for a few games a season surely wouldn’t hurt .

I doubt they can be any cheaper than ours. I can not find anything about why Nob End don’t get the full allocation. There won’t be a block of 700 empty seats at OT on Sunday and fans are in the same stand.
