May as well start one ..
So heres one – Buxton out, Pearce back ?
16 May 2017 at 1:42 pm #159013Pearce should never have been allowed to go in the first place !
16 May 2017 at 4:17 pm #159015Agree fil
16 May 2017 at 5:14 pm #159016Pearce should never have been allowed to go in the first place !Not the only stupid decision by Mr Caldwell.
The Pearce, Morsy, Colclough and McCann situations were just four decisions that were baffling, and in hindsight went a long way in determining our fate.
17 May 2017 at 12:07 pm #159025Colecloughs crap
17 May 2017 at 1:40 pm #159028Linked with midfielders Jorge Grant of Forest and Stephen Dawson of Scunny. Two things, how many midfielders do we need and how can we be looking at players before the new manager is in place?.
17 May 2017 at 2:18 pm #159031Dawson has signed for Bury.

Pearce got found out plenty of times in Lge1 & it was only Latics superiority up front against other teams couple with their poorer quality forwards as to why that wasn’t exploited. He’d have got slaughtered in the championship & it’s no coincidence that the club that came calling fro him was in that division & championship clubs weren’t beating a path to his door
Colclough didn’t look great in Lge1 for us & was a fringe player at best. Went on loan to MK Dons who, depsite struggling, used him sparingly. Came back & bar the odd flash of promise wasn’t much kop
McCann was offered a deal. He turned it down for a lucrative deal to end his career in the US
The Morsy one yes was baffling bearing in mind his performances at Barnsley & when he first came back. But bearing in mind he had an alleged bust up by kicking off in the position that Caldwell said that he wanted him to play, it was hardly baffling that Caldwell tried to shove him out of the door. It must also be borne in mind that despite his faults Joyce got the best out of Morsy by playing him in an advances role, then moved him back & his form suffered. Barrow pretty much dropped himSo personally I don’t think any of the decisions were baffling & in my opinion I think only Morsy could have had a positive impact when you think that it was McCann’s decision to go
5 June 2017 at 6:35 pm #15958112 June 2017 at 12:32 pm #159720We are trying to sign a young keeper from Brighton apparently and Luton interested in him as well.
12 June 2017 at 12:58 pm #159722Thank Christ. I was starting to worry about the number of keepers we have.
12 June 2017 at 3:27 pm #159724Another defender ? (its not who you think) …
12 June 2017 at 6:05 pm #159728Another defender ? (its not who you think) …Played for Woking last season and being released by Charlton, he must be a world beater.
12 June 2017 at 6:26 pm #159731Unfortunately gone are the days we can attract/afford proven talent, I think this is the way it is, and has been for some time now – buy young/raw, hope they reach a certain level of potential .. then sell for profit. Tough, but this is the way I see it.
13 June 2017 at 11:59 pm #159753Eoin doyle, striker at Preston North end, has been managed by cook at 3 clubs, last one being on loan at Portsmouth last season, will he be joining us at some point this season ?.
