1 September 2017 at 3:20 am #161721Gilbey gone to MK Dons on a permanent deal.
1 September 2017 at 11:00 am #161736Probably the worse transfer window I can remember slash the wage bill and about £2million banked.
Lang should have been stuck on the bench and Grigg unloaded especially with his contract up next summer.
Gilbey gone ?, gotta be a personal thing,Lang will probably get a bag full at Morecambe then we’ll flog him rather than use him

1 September 2017 at 1:11 pm #161745Even with a couple of million being banked and the wage bill reduced, we will certainly still be running at a pretty sizeable loss that the chair will hopefully get Uncle Dave to subsidise, rather than it being held against the club.

DW can’t just write off the debt, but what he has done in the past is convert the debt to equity which loses value if there isn’t long term success (it does gain in value if we have success, but that’s OK as our external income grows), and so effectively he takes a loss on money he has invested in equity, and hasn’t just written off a debt.1 September 2017 at 2:35 pm #161747Probably the worse transfer window I can remember slash the wage bill and about £2million banked.

“He’s one of our own” song is the kiss of death for our youngsters, hear that and your offWorst transfer window? Yer having a laugh. I never expected that all 11 players who have been PC’s starting 11, are still here come September 1. As for Gilby, he wanted more playing time and PC couldn’t guarantee it. The team has started very well so why change it cos one player wants to take the place of someone who is playing well. If you’ve been watching Gilby this season ok he’s not had much playing time but when he has, he doesn’t look the player he was before picking up his injury. Looks like PC’s had no choice but to let him leave. As for he young players that have been loaned out, let’s hope they do play well and get lots of goals and MOM performances, that’s what is hoped when you loan players. This has been an unbelievable window for us and one that is making me put my mortgage on us winning this league
From Matlock to ManU

I give you PSG,
Be interesting to see what Fifa/Uefa do about this lot.

Some will always have a glass half empty and not be satisfied until we hit the financial lows of Bolton, Leeds, Portsmouth…… ect

We’ve come out of this window in an excellent position. None of the starting XI have been sold…we can’t complain.
We are in a great position to have a great season and walk this league….I really believe we will do. There’ll be the odd frustration here and there, like the Portsmouth game. But I can’t see many teams beating this side of ours, being honest. Can only bode well.
4 September 2017 at 1:29 pm #161785Next two games will tell us more with regards to winning the league!
