      Exactly the bid for Odemwingie was made public by WBA and now they have got what they were after a bidding war as Newcastle and Spurs according to the papers have entered the frey .

        I see Roberto said he thnks we are two players light at the moment which must presumably include at elast one striking option. I think Dicko is not seen as one for throwing in right now and is not the replacement for Boselli.

        Lets face it, Boselli was 4th in line for the striker’s position behind Rodallega, Sammon & Di Santo so i think that Dicko is his replacement & will be used about as much as Boselli would have been had he not been farmed out.

        I’m only basing it on the fact that the lad only looks about 12 and it really smacks of another of our “one for the future” signings.

          He did good and if plays like that everygame he will get goals!

          wasn’t that the same war cry that the lightside used to cover up the disasterous signings of scotland and bosselli by their champion.

            If he has scored 2 goals then I’m afraid it is therefore an indisputable fact that he is indeed a goalscorer.

              Yes ,the same Bobby who was lambasted on here for making substitutions with five minutes to go last season any how the first person who should have been hauled off saturday was Mccarthy very poor performance in my opinion

              I heard he had a knock and wasn’t even being considered. IMO he never looked fit.
