No need to panic chaps our next home game is 18th Feb there’s is 2nd March plenty time for the pitch to recover :S :S
8 February 2014 at 2:21 am #126980It’s widely accepted that the rugby does not damage the pitch any more than football does.
Is there no end to the the things you know nothing about?
Yet again you have failed to read a post properly before wading in. It’s becoming a little habitual and also boring now. And to top it off another insult.
By eck when’s the sabbatical starting? It’s certainly needed.
Pitch Wreckers. The pitch will be worse with the more games whether its football or egg chasing.
Back on Friday. Is this true??
Worst pitch in tjhe league. Maybe not the worst but certailey not the best. It may not be a quagmire, but have you seen the roll of the ball, it ain’t like a top class pitch should be. It would be a lot better with less games throughout the year and a proper rest and renovation program each summer. But there is never a break long enough to carry out the necessary work.
God help us now. Indeed
Just four statements from Einstein’ original post. How is that not an implication that rugby will damage the pitch? It will damage the pitch, how can you honestly think that more matches on a pitch won’t cause damage and wear?
I think you’re nailing yourself to the wrong mast Horc with Donkey’s Page, but carry on if you want to continue looking daft. I think with your incessant arguing, name calling and know it all ness??, it will be a while until I look as daft as you.
Driven posters away? Really? I have that kind of power? In that case, it would be a shame to waste it with a sabbatical so I think I’ll stay. Now, what will it take to make you leave? I don’t think there is much chance of that, I’m not easily bullied like some of the children you have picked on in the past.
As for Donkey’s horticulture claims, all I will say is a number of posters have disagreed sensibly with that view. No point me helping them so I’ll just carry on taking the piss, especially as it seems to upset you lot so much.
Oh, and Wiganmon – the grown-ups are talking, go and play with your lego or something. What would you know about authors, and reading and writing? The Sun’s cartoon strip doesn’t count.
Having a go at the young’uns again I see. I bet you were fun in the playground.
8 February 2014 at 3:05 am #12698116,000 on not bad for friday a good five thousand from hudersfield if not more
great resultIn case you were not aware, the 5000 in the South Stand is a home end for rugby. The 1500 or so Huddersfield fans were at the other end.
Lets hope for a Huddersfield double this weekend.

8 February 2014 at 4:10 am #126986Been in Silverwell on Darlington St tonight [mate got married and had his do there]
We ended up in the vault cos no seats left in main room. You couldn’t make it up, there was a 60+ year old chap with an Elgren top on
The posse in there were shouting for Wigan and soon realised that there was a few tics men in. I heard one mon say at least we’ve sold out the East Stand and for christ sake there was hundreds if not thousands of empty seats.
I try my best not to lower myself to their standards but can’t help it. The ref was crap, the pitch was crap, the wind was against um in the first half and again in the second half, the players wern’t used to the new strip, if only O’loughlan had played, we are missing Sam, Wane hasn’t got a clue, that Crabtree is an animal, etc. etc. etc. fekin loved every minute. Even if they win the soup or leek, these men will still moan and not make one attempt to get to the DW.
I know we have our moaners and pub fans, but these men have a degree in it. :PFrom Matlock to ManU

Then you can digest a large dose of humble pie.
See ya tomorrow big gob.
8 February 2014 at 11:59 am #126988Watching the rugby game last night in the pub, when I say watching I mean I looked up every once in a while to see what was happening, I have to say anybody that’s says the rugby doesn’t wreck the pitch is talking complete and utter bollocks. They were making a right mess!

Tony Gallagher’s not a young ‘un – well, mentally, maybe.
As for all your other rubbish, you’re getting a bit obsessed with me now, aren’t you? See, I have pop at everybody who seems gullible enough to fall for it so don’t flatter yourself that I’m giving you and the Preston yokels preferential treatment. However, you all make it very, very easy.

Don’t put it on your avatar muttyshite just upload the picture normally as a jpeg file, that way we can all see the properties of the picture showing when it was taken.
While your at it can you post a picture of a view from your seat last night, you seem to have missed telling us where you was sitting in your reply.
8 February 2014 at 10:05 pm #127000If there was ever a thread that proved that this web site is filled with bitter, sad, lonely balding middle aged men then this is it.
The contradictions from you ‘hardened Latics fans’ are laughable. You take the piss out of the rugby for the exact same things the football does.
Difference…. The Cherry and White board doesn’t do football hate threads because they aren’t jealous of Wigan Athletic like this board is of the Warriors.
The bullshit and exaggerations fatfan has just spouted about the pub confirms that.
