11 September 2015 at 1:43 pm #144694Not sure if Bradley is a Latics Mon but I heard he was a season ticket holder for The Cuckoos once.Bradley Wiggins is a big Wigan RL fan (Mutty knows this and was taking the p*ss)
He’s also made derogatory remarks about Wigan Ath in the past.
Still, his Wigan RL affiliation is to be expected I suppose. One sport riddled with performance enhancing drugs to another (allegedly).

11 September 2015 at 8:14 pm #144696Makes sense putting Mcann in defence when he turned the game around in midfield r u caldwell lol
12 September 2015 at 11:53 am #144701Remember seeing the fat bloke who played the jealous copper on the TV series ‘life on Mars ‘ .
He was in the east stand concourse and somebody pointed him out. He didnt seem too pleased to be spotted so we left him alone.
His name in the show was ‘ Ray ‘ I think and this is going back about 7 years at least and he may just have nabbed a freebie whilst he was filming but I reckon we can call him a celebrity fan.
Agree with maconie not being classed as a fan , saw him near worsley mesnes many years back and nodded at him to say hello and he just blanked me outright.12 September 2015 at 1:19 pm #144702Thought it was common Latics knowledge we’d claimed Gorbachev as our biggest celeb fan.
Regularly seen on St Andrews terrace and more recently in Rigalettos before home games

Did Port Vale have to be be some team to beat us or where we just pretty crap until going down to the 2-0 I sat quietly hoping we didn’t go down to until we started playing?
See closed topic and remember we will get better and despite me being called negative, in the real work it’s called realistic without the massively tinted specs on.
13 September 2015 at 1:47 am #144719I honestly think we are going to twonk some team 5-0 at least when it comes good in the not so distant future B)

In the real work??? what a fekin plonker!! and yes I knew you would be back on this thread quicker than diarrhea with pumps on if we lost.
You need to get a grip man, did you not think we would beat Port Vale?

What’s it like being wrong all the time? Good pick up on a word wrong through predictive text though.
I didn’t expect to win against Port Vale we can’t think like that at the moment, big dose of realism needed for some.why would I think we’d beat a team unbeaten at home just because we scored 3 goals in10 mins last week? It’s a 90 minute game and we didn’t get away with it yesterday.
I think we’ll probably beat Fleetwood but I don’t think they’ll need to be ‘some team’ to beat us and they won’t be on my coupon.
As for getting a grip, my grip is firmly on reality not a fantasy world that’s all blue, white and smells of Sharpeys Calvins.
13 September 2015 at 4:12 pm #144733You two need to get a room and sort out all that pent up anger with a good bumming session!
13 September 2015 at 4:47 pm #144734Well done for coming out Fil, it’s a modern world we live in

This is a football fans forum, a country mile away from family life and would expect all fans to treat it as such. By the same token I wouldn’t expect fans to have the need to explain that on here.
Just read the last post from the closed thread, and then look at my starting post on this thread. It was a tongue in cheek post aimed at George following his decision to close it, you really don’t get it do you.
Having said that I base my predictions on the facts in front of me and the football knowledge I have gained, watching football for over 40 years. I told my mates on the way to the Chesterfield game that the pitch there was tight, they have a decent home record and I would be happy with a point. I fully expected a win yesterday, again based on the fact that they are a club with no money, no famous names, in fact most of us wouldn’t have been able to name 3 of their players before getting to the ground. It was also based on the facts of the events that happened the week before, you could see they were lifted by that comeback. Therefore we have a team that has man for man better players and have just had on back to back wins, yes I fully expected them to win.
I notice you said you sat back quietly hoping we didn’t go down to until we started playing, was that on your couch listening to WISH FM?, cos all the fans seemed to be standing in the away end where I was watching from. B)

What a journey!13 September 2015 at 5:56 pm #144740I refer you to a previous reply to you after the Chesterfield game where you said Port Vale would have to be some team to beat us.
I said I’d rather sit back quietly hoping we wouldn’t go 2-0 down before we started playing.
Do you see now?
