I refer you to a previous reply to you after the Chesterfield game where you said Port Vale would have to be some team to beat us.
I said I’d rather sit back quietly hoping we wouldn’t go 2-0 down before we started playing.

One swallow and all that! Some fans get a little giddy when we win and start to think that the smash it with 100pts comment isn’t as stupid a comment as some of us might think! :P

I am more than certain that this league will be harder to get out of than most people think. It still doesn’t mean you can’t have opinions and optimism on any one game.
Like next week, I fully expect to beat Fleetwood for the very same reasons I thought we’d beat Port Vale. To call that getting giddy must go down as the over statement of the year, although your pull out tongue smiley does give a hint of sarcasm in your post Fil.

What a journey!To be honest Fil I can cope with a bit of over exuberance from people but to fall out with an alternitive viewpoint before the outcome is decided, then continue to fall out with folk about their viewpoint when caution was proven to be the way forward is just idiotic.
The bottom line is we need a common sense approach from all involved with club this season. Let’s not get carried away with wins let’s not get too down hearted with defeats, let’s see where we are at the turn of the year to either push on or consolidate.
