    I went down to pay my registration fee yesterday. A £10 payment that all halton residents pay. This then allows unlimited usage over both bridges for the locals. Everyone else has to pay to cross. Though i do think that people who say live in st helens but work in runcorn, can also register.

    For the haulage industry it is the latest kick in the gonads with both towns having industries utterly reliant on road transport. Its time we received help and support instead of haulage firms constantly footing the bills for these supposedly improvements.
