I really hope that the floating fans all turn up for this and make it a great atmosphere.
With 4700 of their giddy lot getting behind the team we need and early goal (followed by 3 more) to shut them up and hopefully give a reason for those floaters to come back next Saturday.
I think it has been mentioned here somewhere else, but the next 6 (possibly 7) games are all winnable and our crowds need play their part.
FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that
16 February 2017 at 6:55 pm #155428Utd or red shite will be on tv in Berkley square so i won’t hold mi breath
16 February 2017 at 8:02 pm #155430£27 a ticket guarantees they won’t be. 9500-10,000 home fans as usual. Casual fans seem to be a thing of the past nowadays.

Casual fans seem to be a thing of the past nowadays. As much as it hurts, most Wiganers with a spare £27 this weekend are more likely to spend it watching the best Rugby Club in the world stick 40+ points on Wigan Warriors this Sunday.
16 February 2017 at 11:23 pm #155437Didn’t know that lot had started. Who do they play Saints?
16 February 2017 at 11:34 pm #155438Is playing the knobbers a bigger game than bolton? what do you think?
16 February 2017 at 11:41 pm #155439to be honest f@@k the floating part timers.
Usually people who were there every week once we hit the premier with replica tops on and the biggest mouths.
They had a chance last summer to purchase 23 games for just over the price of 7 but didn’t and the club has rightfully decided to charge the floaters a high price.
Don’t give me not everybody can afford £179 blah blah blah but the type of people who float are the types who just come down after a recent victory or for a big cup tie.
I appreciate that there is a small element who
Probably couldn’t afford it but given the amount of jags, Mercs and beemers I see around Wigan now I’m sure it isn’t money.
The club has bent over backwards to look after the loyal Wigan supporters and I have absolutely no beef with the £27 price I only wince at their outright stupidity when I see the plebs queuing for them before the game
Our 10k will
Make plenty of noise and given the arrogance and assumptions coming from Nobend I have a funny feeling they may have a little shock coming.Ps I’d put a game against Nobend on par with Bolton although I don’t think there is a much vitriol.

In recent years I have worked with our local rival fans from Bolton, Blackburn, Blackpool & Nob End. I find that you can have sensible football conversations with all, apart from the Nob Enders who have this unjustified arrogance and belief that they are somehow bigger and better than Wigan ! Not spoken to a single Nobber that will admit it was good to see Wigan pick up the FA Cup against all odds. I hate the Mark Lawrenson ass kissing B–tards !

It’s a thing that happens these days as clubs seem to be pushing more and more to just selling season tickets. The Nobbers themselves with a much bigger catchment area and traditional support struggle to get many more fans in than season ticket holders.
Personally it’s Nob End who are top of my vitriol list but coming from Eccleston smack between Wigan and Nobtown and supporting non league Latics in the late sixties and seventies may have had summat to do with it. We will do the arrogant dick heads tomorrow. 4-0 Latics.17 February 2017 at 9:15 pm #155458Is playing the knobbers a bigger game than bolton? what do you think?

Hate both the bastards, but not half as much as our egg chasing parasitic lodgers, but we’re not allowed to slag them off anymore are we?
17 February 2017 at 9:54 pm #155463Since when. What’s changed?

A mate of mine quite likes Latics and fancied taking his two lads to the Derby match tomorrow. On finding this was going to be £57-00 before pop crisps burgers etc he binned the idea. This is being repeated week in week out and it has probably got to the point that football fans have become isolated and don’t even bother thinking of even going or enquiring about tickets. Plenty other demands for money.

18 February 2017 at 3:19 pm #155479Since when. What’s changed?Nothing, apart from they won the last game of the season to become champions. Since then, we’ve managed one home league win and are at the wrong end of the table.
Its easy to slag others off from a position of strength – not so much when you’re not.
Last season Will Grigg was on fire, Wildschutt had an internet video song going viral and we were running away with the title. This season, Will Grigg’s a damp squib, Wildschutt has pissed off and we are in the bottom 3.
