Please don’t go down the jealousy route egg lad. That’s exactly what the plastic Mancs spout to those who show vitriol to the scum. If it was jealousy you would just jump on the bandwagon and support them yourself. I will never be jealous of the what that lot have done coz they don’t register in any part of my thoughts only when I have to reply about the brain dead sport on here. Hats off to you Mon for supporting both but to me egg clodding doesn’t exist and that’s both forms of the joke sport.
I really hope that the floating fans all turn up for this and make it a great atmosphere.With 4700 of their giddy lot getting behind the team we need and early goal (followed by 3 more) to shut them up and hopefully give a reason for those floaters to come back next Saturday.
I think it has been mentioned here somewhere else, but the next 6 (possibly 7) games are all winnable and our crowds need play their part.
Maybe about 3 or 4 hundred floaters turned up Jayt but don’t think that performance would bring them back.

Didn’t have you down as a fish but any catch will do. ;)
From my personal experience of things rugby fans didn’t care about Latics until we made the Prem. At that point Latics fans stopped singing songs about the rugby. Now Latics fans in the main don’t care but rugby fans do all they can to degrade Latics. The one reason I can think is jealousy.

When i was growing up i always supported them both because i like both sports. I can understand people not being bothered about them if they didn’t like rugby but some people just hate them out of jealousy and envy and there is no getting away from it. A lot of Latics fans who have kids are educating them to grow up hating Wigan Warriors because of their own inept insecurities. Its pathetic.
When I was really young I liked Wigan Rugby, cos it was Wigan, my town.
Then in my late teens I hated them as they did nothing but take the pish out of latics, with them being superior and all that.
Now I’m older I don’t really care about them, but still love most things Wigan.
Was with a lad from Sheffield this week who believe it or not supports Wigan rugby, and was driving over for tomorrows match. He took the micky large about Wigan being a rugby town. Now I’m older I just laughed it off.

Latics fans have a real genuine reason for hating the eggs, mainly down to Lindsey and his vile comments about us in the past. How the fcuk he was ever allowed within hundred miles of the club astonished me. We were always looked upon as a nonentity by the morons who didn’t like football someone to. Laugh at. Well the joke is now on them with their poxy Americanized club names and the joke sport treading water till it eventually disappears up its own arse. Winning the FA cup was the greatest achievement EVER by a Wigan team and 1 FA cup win is worth 100 Mickey Mouse league or cup wins in the daft pointless sport.Jealous, yeah right.

Pie Mon, don’t know your age or anything about you but those of a certain time who have followed this club from non league/ lower league have put up with more shit from that lot who have no right to compare their success in a minority sport to that of the Latics who compete in the greatest league pyramid system in world football. Only a handful of teams in egg chucking can win owt as opposed to Latics history where we have competed and won things at every level we have been at. You should know that it is not jealousy I feel because we have won many honours in the worlds greatest sport unlike that shite who compete against half a dozen serious contenders. There is no comparison pie Mon.

What I want to know is why was their following 4700 yet the stand was full to the hilt? No meshing or dolled off seats just a rammed to capacity stand that I thought held more than 5000? ES1 isn’t dolled off anymore either I noticed yesterday because we went up there for the second half!
