We win away at a high flying team with a great comeback – but not a peep.
Is it because a number of people are wiping the egg off their faces having criticised earlier?
{For clarification – it’s “the egg”, not “The Egg” which would be something quite different]

25 October 2014 at 10:55 pm #134463No no no, bob.
Apparently changing a rubbish team is wrong. We should have kept the team that played against Millwall. Herr Swappenchange doesn’t know what he’s doing.
Apparently.

You’d like to think they are busy travelling back from Derby but most of the moaners can barely drag themselves to home games let alone go away.

Nout for em to moan about.
26 October 2014 at 1:34 am #134468Its about time the players showed they cared3 crucial games against 3 teams below us coming up.
Today was a fine win, no doubt about that. However one win doesn’t cast aside all the recent problems. We need to kick on from here and win at least 2 of these next 3 to really start moving up the table and prove today was not a flash in the pan.
Fulham are running nicely into form so next Saturday will be a very good indicator of where we really are. The players will hopefully take confidence from today, whether they will be playing next week or not :cheer:
26 October 2014 at 1:40 am #134469Must admit i come on here to wind people (up ie Griff) but we have done that many changes in pre season (by the way thats every season) that me personally i think we`ll be stronger next season than this due to the changes , we know its football and these things happen but its every sodden season for Wigan Athletic and i believe everyone involved within the club deserves credit .Play offs, if not top two, ere we come and stick with Her Rosler cause once this squad plays with confidence theirs no stopping us .

I think beating the top team in this division might be a better indicator as to where we are as a team. The players are there, Uwe just needs to pick um. The midfield today was awesome, ignore what the brolly man said, his team wasn’t poor, they were made tom look poor by a very good Wigan team. I have never seen us win as many seconds in a game.
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!26 October 2014 at 5:01 am #134474Espinoza starts. We win. Sound familiar? Hardly a coincidence the energy that man brings.
26 October 2014 at 12:29 pm #134475good grief
26 October 2014 at 1:09 pm #134477Win the next two and it’s Rosler in

Hardly a coincidence the energy that man brings.Ignoring the fact that that must be a wind-up, I was only thinking last night (having not seen the game) that it was hardly a coincidence that Huys started yesterday and we win. I think that was probably more of a factor than Roger’s headless chicken nonsense.
Oh, and we went back to 1 up front, too.

Game plan was to press them all over the pitch – it seems to have worked. Roger with his energy would be perfect for those tactics.
It’ll be all change on Saturday – unless the tactics remain the same of course. B)
