And of course he gets the blame if moore misses his 90th chance of the season or kipre and dunkley fall over to let someone score a late winner.
9 February 2020 at 5:23 pm #184855Justify an outfield “let’s not lose “10….when Preston have a poor away record, we are fighting relegation and 1pt just won’t cut it. Justify leaving Garner benched against his old club and over Christmas when we are screaming for goals. He comes on against Derby nets soon after, played well at Swansea until he swapped him for Moore instead of putting them together and leaving Massey on bench. Gives an assist for last minute winner against Wednesday and STILL he doesn’t get a start. Lowe though has been hopeless all season but in Cooks eyes deserves to start every game……Garner, Moore,Geldhardt to start gives us our best chance of getting out of the mire. Continue with his Saturday set up is foot shooting at it’s best.
9 February 2020 at 6:12 pm #184858Some of his selections and subs are baffling. Again something ive said many times.
Garner BTW started and Deepdale and people in the beer queue around me at HT were slagging cook off for playing a Preston fan against Preston. You can’t win.
Then again, what it does show is we all pick different teams if asked and cooks no different. Because he doesnt pick the one you pick doesnt make him an idiot.
9 February 2020 at 6:13 pm #184859Cooks tactics and selections have probably cost us a few points but so have players mistakes and poor finishing. It isnt all down to cook.
10 February 2020 at 12:47 pm #184893So back to the thread
Robinson
Considering all that went on with Robinson and AC and the sh1t were in it would have been nice to know (team news) as to why he played no part in Saturdays loss.
I’m sure his pace and attacking prowess could have had a huge bearing on the final result.
But saying that, were only fans who fork out our hard earned cash to support the club so why to do we need to know why our best player is omitted, ,
“Non of your fcukin business”We’d have better communication levels if they used racing pigeons
10 February 2020 at 1:01 pm #184894No mention of an injury so most likely he hasn’t been “with it” since coming back from Milan. Tomorrow will be a big indicator of why he wasn’t picked because I don’t think Pearce will get the nod. Then again, I’ve give in trying to second guess team selections.

That doesn’t sound like a man who’s p1ssed with the club. As per usual comms between the club and fans is non existence especially with such a high profile player at the club.If he’s injured why not just say !?. Fans are debating and trying to figure out what went wrong against Preston so when this seasons best player is missing it would be nice to know why.
10 February 2020 at 2:39 pm #184897That’s it if he is injured I think they would say. Maybe not before the possible move but they can do now.
I’m not too fussed about the “word from the club” stuff. Businesses (which is what it is these days) don’t involve their stakeholders in everything that goes on.
10 February 2020 at 4:01 pm #184898Vincehill is very quiet at the moment as well.
I reckon their working a better deal for him with a prem club and vince getting some juicy commission!

If you mean your “not too fussed” if the club puts 2p on the price of chips or ale then I’m not fussed either but when its regarding the omission of your best player for no apparent reason and you lose then I am.
It’s all about communication with fans, he is a player who nearly left the club for £10 million so if it’s not an injury it’s all abit strange10 February 2020 at 4:47 pm #184901Could be quite feasible that his head has been turned by said move
10 February 2020 at 5:18 pm #184903Villa and Barcodes all interested along with Chelsea

I wish i was getting a commission on the very likely £10-15 million quid fee.
If i was him i Wouldnt bother with Aston Vile ( very likely to be back in the championship anyway imo) or those dreadful over inflated egotistical barcodes, (another word beginning with B springs to mind to describe them).
His story is a great one and an inspiration for all those young players fighting their way up league football.
could easily be £30 million quid coming into the club at least if they sell Joffy also but both need to be playing if the club is to get the best price for them both.
Resigned to losing them both, thats how it is now but we could also stay up if he plays them both regularly starting NOW !!!10 February 2020 at 11:21 pm #184915No mention of an injury again so he should be involved somewhere
10 February 2020 at 11:33 pm #184916Not the first deadline day transfer to fall through and wont be the last.
He is payed and contracted to play for Wigan Athletic so should barring any injury be in the squad. -
