He seemed allright to me when I saw him walking up the stairs as I came out of the springfield suit £20 breakfast debacle
12 February 2020 at 11:17 am #184977This may be 0% true, 100% true or somewhere in the middle. It’s not from an official source but someone who has given me a few good bits of info in the past, but he said that Robinson didn’t train at all last week and only returned on Monday.
I assume it’s a state of mind thing and that it was agreed with management as opposed to going on strike.
If it turns out to be correct then I wou;d expect him to be in the side at Cardiff on Saturday.
13 February 2020 at 10:56 pm #185022Clubs announced it’s a groin injury 2 weeks out. Nothing like taking your time.
14 February 2020 at 5:21 am #185031Sorry but I don’t believe the groin thing referring to my earlier post. I’ve done my groin in my younger days he had no problem walking up them stairs

I’ve done my groin in my younger days he had no problem walking up them stairsI did my hamstring in my youth & found it ok to walk up stairs. But I couldn’t run for 6 weeks. Huge difference between walking up stairs & playing in a professional, competitive football match.

In my youth I did 20 pints in Pemps and couldn’t stand up never mind walk upstairs.
14 February 2020 at 2:39 pm #185037I fell asleep in Pemps, Barbara woke us up and said we (there were 3 or4 of us) could stay for a tenner and she would unlock at 10!! I got a taxi

Bollocks.
Two weeks before the communication network are even arsed to speak to supporters. Bollocks.
Better P.R. in our Non League days.12 March 2020 at 1:23 pm #185760I bet the owners are crying into their noodles that 10 million is a long long way away now, heart defect and worth nothing to them now but good luck to the lad and speedy recovery.
12 March 2020 at 3:40 pm #185761Got told this after the PNE game but then the club announced a groin injury so didn’t think too much of it.
Speedy recovery Jedi
12 March 2020 at 8:29 pm #185762Are we still blaming the club for the sale not going through and him not playing since?
12 March 2020 at 10:50 pm #185764Assuming he has always had this heart defect why wasnt it diagnosed when he signed for us?

We’re behind you all the way Jedi
13 March 2020 at 2:00 pm #185770Interesting one this.
Many cast aspersions on Latics and Milan at the time, the reality is a bit different and perhaps we should comment on fact rather than making stuff up.
We also have no right (but a big interest) to know someone’s personal medical info so a silence or a diversion in this case is very justified from the club, this isn’t like a hamstring that is a football injury and it does take some courage to come out and explain the situation.
Most importantly good luck to the lad, hope he has a speedy recovery and can see a future for himself. -
