Any transfer rumours that might give us a little hope and get folk chatting again? Site is dead and the gloom has descended! To be almost halfway through the current transfer window and no news, whilst wallowing at the foot of the table is a little concerning for me I have to say!

I like MacManaman, we wouldn’t have won the FA Cup without him, good luck to the lad.13 January 2015 at 9:46 pm #138278Leicester City have reportedly agreed a fee with Wigan Athletic for the transfer of Shaun Maloney.
The 31-year-old is said to have been courted by several Premier League clubs, but Leicester have won the race and will secure him on a long-term deal.
The Foxes will pay in excess of £1m to land the Scot from the Latics, according to Goal.com.
Scotland international Maloney has been a Wigan player for three and a half years after leaving Celtic for the DW Stadium.
This season he has made 19 appearances in the Championship for the struggling Latics, who are in 23rd in the Championship, five points from safety.

14 January 2015 at 7:32 pm #138312That would be a decent signing imo if we’re thinking of playing someone up front at any point, doesn’t score many himself mind
15 January 2015 at 12:58 am #138317Wigan linked with QPR winger Matt PhillipsHope the lad has recovered from his serious injury sustained last season, that sidelined him for several months.
We don’t want to become a team who sign players on loan just to get them back to fitness, from what I saw on Saturday, Ridgewell is nowhere near ready for a regular start, playing for us is he’s pre-season. :(
