What a journey!We had a good start and looked comfortable then started to let them have opportunities at the back post with a spare man finding space. Then what looked like a con of a penalty (not seen it on tv so happy to be wrong). After that it wAs always going to be tough breaking them down as the sat and defended.
I had several frustrations;
Their play acting
Our unwillingness to run to the bye line and cross
The lack of urgency towards the end
Leon Clarke appearing to wear my boots instead of his own
Powell didn’t appear to know we were losing and had a very rusty game

Evans is piss poor too, delivery is shite. Naysmith goes from really good one minute, to really shite the next. Dunkley is a liability. Jacobs hardly runs at people anymore. Windass is hot and cold. McManaman is bang average nowadays too. Powell is just waiting til summer.

27 shots and on another day could have been 4 or 5. We weren’t brilliant granted but that’s 4 unbeaten and hopefully Powell will be ok to start next week after a 4 month lay off. Callum was decent when he came on and deserves a start as no way is he worse than what we have and deserves a chance.
