The next person to mention the age of players is getting banned. 10 are 30 or over, 18 are younger. End of. It means nothing.What about the age of posters??
Do you want a minimum and maximum age of posters, and only allow the ones to voice an opinion who old enough to have been there and got the T shirt and agree with everything the mods say.
Us older ones are not always right despite years of experience, although we think we are.
The younger posters who can’t remember the bad times seem to expect we should be challenging with the big boys at all times and also think think they are always right.Nobody is wrong, and I agree it can get a bit tedious, but banning people? It will become like Vital Latics where you can get banned for farting on your own couch.
Differences of opinion will always prevail no matter what age we are, and is what makes for a healthy board and forum.
We don’t ban rugby speak although they should be, or posters who blatantly slag us off because they follow other teams, so why ban people for offering an opinion on age?
Don’t forget, most people on here probably do it for a laugh to wind people up.
If they put an age limit on here then the site would be deathly quiet. I imagine most of us who post on a daily basis are over the hill so to speak. As horc says its opinions right or wrong and it happens on every site of every club. And win lose or draw promotion or relegation we will still be the magnificent Wigan Athletic and still be writing the greatest story ever told. COYL
