We’re actually that poor that we are 13th in the form table above every side below us and the mighty Blackburn that everyone keeps going on about are rock bottom.
BOOOOOOOOOOO
BLOODY RUBBISH WIGAN1 March 2019 at 11:34 am #176730We haven’t played well in the last few ganes but we haven’t lost any either. We would be comfortably safe now if our away form was any good.
Despite that though, we still haven’t been in the bottom 3 yet and unless the sides below us all turn the form book on its head massively then we’re safe. If we win 2 games they need to win 4. Can’t see it happening.
Some will see that as us being good enough to survive, some will see it as sides being worse than us. Ultimately it’s the exact same thing.
1 March 2019 at 11:46 am #176731Last season, we were deemed to be better than Blackburn because we finished above them. Nobody said we only won the league because they were worse than us.
This season the teams below us are worse than us as opposed to us being better.
It’s the half empty half full scenario and Wiganers are great at twisting it to suit their moaning.
1 March 2019 at 11:46 am #176732And our goal for this season remains the same goal at the start of the season – to REMAIN in this league. However we achieve it, by finishing top or 4th from bottom, the goal was to survive. So far we are achieving our aim.

I know egg, & that’s the trouble
1 March 2019 at 3:05 pm #176735What bothers me is if we do stay in this league then next season Cook will feel there is no need to change his present tactics which are absolutely mind numbing. He will feel that he achieved his goal and that if it ain’t broken then it doesn’t need fixing as they say! We have been dire for the last 20 games or so ( 3rd from bottom according to that form table! )
1 March 2019 at 3:24 pm #176736Thank God for those early points on the board or we would be in the shit.
1 March 2019 at 4:27 pm #176737Think Bolton were 2nd or 3rd early season.
1 March 2019 at 5:30 pm #176739Cupwinners doesn’t deal in facts, just his usual conspiracy theory nonsense.
Why everyone thinks that all of a sudden at least 3 teams are going to win 2 more games from the last 12 than us when they have all won less games than us in the 34 so far, I’m not sure. Millwall, Reading AND Rotherham need to win a quarter of their remaining games AT LEAST
Barlow and his dinner plate size rose tinted Jodrell Bank size specs pins our hopes for the season on other teams been sh1tter than us therefore we stay up not how were playing….for fookin FS your a joke pal !.
The facts are were poor or have you been reading the League table wrong way up without your auto rotate on your phone ?.
You still think weve got a young squad even tough I used facts to prove your talking out your cutters. You need to get rid of those specs because in your eyes we’ve no player over 14 and were top 9 clear, Barlow sorry but we’re not going up this season because there ain’t enough teams that are shitter than us.
On the subject of facts:Squad of 28 players
11 are under 25 years old
8 are aged 26 – 30 years old
5 are over 30 years old (17%)
And of those over 30 years old, only 2 are regular starters (+ Roberts who is in and out depending on injuries)
The average age of the 18 players in the squad last Saturday was 27 – and that’s taking into account Clarke at 34 and Fox at 32.
Hardly Dad’s Army is it?
1 March 2019 at 6:35 pm #176741Rubbish Standish. Cook only likes 30 plus year olds who are 6ft. Our average age is about 52.

They are old enough to remember the Plough and Harrow on’t Coppull Moor !2 March 2019 at 12:01 pm #176750Cupwinners doesn’t deal in facts, just his usual conspiracy theory nonsense.

Put another way 10 players are 30+.
Dad’s Armys younger,
I bet we could break the record for the most father son combo’s.
Average means nothing. Throwing in Gelhardt doesn’t make Roberts 25.5 years old, fool.
You really need to dump those rose tinters in the bin m8 your 1 boring fart with your trolls2 March 2019 at 1:36 pm #176751The next person to mention the age of players is getting banned. 10 are 30 or over, 18 are younger. End of. It means nothing.
