13 November 2014 at 8:56 pm #135447Steve kean ….
I take it that was tongue in cheek Crammy? I’d sooner have Coyle back :woohoo:
Graeme Jones for me ;)[/quote]
Ha ha yes it sure was… you can actually get odds on coyle as next manager…. bizzare !!
13 November 2014 at 9:09 pm #135449Like i’ve said on another thread i bet whelan regrets not paying that extra bit of dosh & going for mclaren when it was between him & coyle.
One of the following:
Moyes – friend of whelan’s im led to believe.
pulis
hughton
mackay
13 November 2014 at 9:13 pm #135450Moyes??? Think hes in spain at the moment
13 November 2014 at 9:15 pm #135451Jewell, Hutchings, Bruce & Martinez. There was not too much recruitment involved in these and yes, Hutchings was a failure.
Coyle & Rosler were managers we went out to get.Either we have somebody with a connection to Whelan or the club lined up or the decision makers will need to have learnt the lessons when trying to recruit from the market.
Really? Didn’t we have to pay Swansea compensation?
You rarely sack a manager without having someone, or a few, sounded out.
13 November 2014 at 9:16 pm #135452Haha cheers crammy. I didnt realise moyes had got the sociedad job until ive just turned on sky sports news looking for rosler news & the man himself was interviewed.
13 November 2014 at 9:19 pm #13545313 November 2014 at 10:07 pm #135456Steve clarke or tim sherwood
13 November 2014 at 10:26 pm #135457Although i have always hated him at other clubs, It has to be Tony Pulis surely?
He get’s the respect of the dressing room, takes no shit and get’s results. If Dave Whelan really wants to get back to the premiership then he has to pay for Pulis. And he knows it…………….. But he will appoint Mackay or Hughton because they are cheaper.
13 November 2014 at 11:10 pm #135460Cannot afford to get this one wrong. Pulis for me, horses for courses and all that.
13 November 2014 at 11:13 pm #135461Jurgen Klinsmann has been on sky over the past few days talking about how he would like to manage a team in England, even at championship level.
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!13 November 2014 at 11:13 pm #135462Mackay has alledgedly already been sounded out so i’ll go with him.
13 November 2014 at 11:26 pm #135463whelan been on granada reports and says he has no one lined up, then again yesterday he said rosler was still the man for the job. Never liked pulis when he was at stoke but think he would do a good job, but do we want to play the “stoke way”.
