23 August 2016 at 4:49 pm #150181Don’t be surprised if Swansea, Bournemouth, Palace, Hull Burnley and Watford are the bottom six. If I had to choose I would have Hull bottom Burnley second bottom and Watford third relegation spot.
I think Burnley might have the best chance of that lot to stay up? They’ve got two handy strikers in their team which just might make a difference.
Bournemouth are playing well but no picking up points. That is more of a concern and I do think they will go down.23 August 2016 at 5:55 pm #150182Worst fans in the league the mackems. Typical North East team that think they have a right to win things because they get a big gate. No surprise when you live in a s***hole where there is nothing else to do for miles.

Wigan must be the centre of the entertainment world then coz our townsfolk seem to find plenty to do instead of Watching the towns football club (thowt I may as well say it before mutt does) eh mutt.
23 August 2016 at 6:49 pm #150189I wonder where Stu spent the entire 2015/16 season, as he seemed to be one of the posters who found something else to do whilst his beloved team were playing in the 3rd tier. Before todays attacks on Sunderland and the club we dare not speak the name of, he’s been away for 1 year and 5 months.
That said, he’s back now – or was he always here, but just with a different ID?
23 August 2016 at 7:10 pm #150190Not only a internet troll but a stalker how did you know how long he has been away ._.More to you than meets the eye i reckon

26 April 2017 at 6:51 pm #158420At least youll play toon again. oh hang on. if you get them in the cup
26 April 2017 at 10:58 pm #158430Mutty, do you think you will have the squad to go straight back up like NUFC or will there be too many big time charlies’ who will want to leave?
27 April 2017 at 12:15 pm #158439I think the squad is strong enough to compete and the parachute payment should make us competitive. That said, some of this squad have literally downed tools this season and are a disgrace to their profession, and the sooner they leave, the better. The likes of Kone, Rodwell & Borini should leave ASAP, Defoe will leave with our thanks. Pickford will probably be sold, but for big money, as he’ll be an England No1 soon.
Unlike many, I’m happy for Moyes to continue as manager, as there is a serious rebuilding job to be done, and repeatedly changing manager wont work. We’ve been the turd that could not be flushed for 3-4 seasons now, and the mismanagement at owner/CEO level makes DW/DS/JJ look almost saintly in comparison!
Relegation has been on the cards since pre-season after the FA/Allardyce dalliance ruined pre-season, and was pretty much confirmed at the end of August when Kone went on strike and we sold Kaboul for peanuts. The squad was a mish-mash of merceneries, kids, OAPs and a car-crash pre-season failed to make them a cohesive unit.
The atmosphere at away games is pretty toxic. To have almost 3,000 singing “we’re fucking shit” for 90 minutes is something I’ve not experienced before – mind you, it means it shuts the home support up because there’s nowt they can sing at us that we don’t already know!
I hope the big R is confirmed on Saturday as this lot deserve to go down in front of 40,000+ boos, rather than away or even on a non-playing day. It would be even more appropriate that the smallest club in PL history, and one that was in the 4th tier not long ago, are the ones who relegate us.
As for next season, I’m looking forward to actually going to games with the expectation of winning more than we lose!

27 April 2017 at 1:56 pm #158443Does mutty mean Bournemouth?
27 April 2017 at 4:17 pm #158445They could survive if they win all their remaining games despite showing no evidence of doing so and all the others get beat. Oh hang on, where have I heard shite talk like that before?
