After what he tried to do when we were in administration I personally don’t want Leneghan anywhere near our club. Danson,other than being a billionaire, is a bit of an unknown quantity ,if it was him on his own I might be persuaded but we would have to look at his motives for buying us. It’s all conjecture at the moment .None of us have a clue what’s going on ,hopefully there is a credible buyer waiting in the wings ,we live in hope !
As it stands selling the stadium to Lenagan would be Jasmi’s choice. I personally don’t think Lenagan wants to take us on at 76 years of age and like DW I don’t think he would want his family lumbered with two teams who both lose money.

Or.name the stadium after testing parkDanson bought 25 % of shares from Lenagan not that long ago for a reported £2.5million but Lenagan has made it clear he’s not selling yet and did mention passing it on the family.
If Lenagan takes over the football he would have 100% control and ownership.It just makes you think if Danson doesn’t mind having a dabble with the rugby but if he knows he will never own it he might as well have a pop with us.
Has Lenagans remarks about not selling pushed him towards us ? we’ll never know. And don’t expect much TV chat I get interviews
and the supporters live zooms he’s a very private person who does very few interviews but knows how to make money.
Is he a rugby man? No more than he is a football fan by the sounds of it.Bit worried by the statement that Danson wants to buy Wigan Athletic and the stadium. I thought they came together ,it looks like he wants to treat them as two separate entities.
How long would you work for nothing ?
If I was safe in the knowledge that I was at the front of any creditor queue for money, quite a while. And when there are assets like the stadium and the training ground and even the DW statue, then any one of those could be sold and my salary would be covered.
That said, I dont see a host of clubs beating the door down to sign either of those, even on £500 a week.
