So we now put our faith in the efl to find us fit and proper owners yet again, let’s face it their track record isn’t too good

Or, did the efl know that this takeover is happening so no further penalties will be suffered by our fabulous club? Let’s face it lads the efl are not blameless in our plight
I just don’t think it’s the rugby lot. If you remember when we were in admin they sniffed around but they were only interested in the ground and Begbies told them no.
I just can’t see them ploughing money into both codes when their both losing money.
I don’t think we can start blaming the EFL for allowing Jasmi to take over. Not one supporter would have ever thought at the time he took over it would ever come to this.
We could have a billionaire owner but if they decide they’ve had enough we could end up in the same boat. They can only look at the fianances at the time they take over and that’s it.

F###### both ways then. Johals attempts to buy Morecambe failed because of his required paperwork due to be submitted to EFl continually delayed….mmmmm . Unbelievable this guy can actually be considered by the owner !!! Unless he’s giving us away for free then no chance AL Jasmi getting his claws on any money. Heard it definitely wasn’t connected to the Rugby…..so is Johal the one…….that’s it lock up after you if that’s the case.!!!
Sarbjot Johal has absolutely no chance of taking over infact I’ve more chance and at my last Halifax login I had £700 but the mortgage is due Thursday.
The EFL simply could not risk getting it wrong again so if he’s not willing to show funds buying Morecambe he’s no chance with us.
When I said rugby I didn’t mean Lenagan. At 76 years old he’s at the point of, do I need this I’m sure he would sell or family take over.
They want the stadium period so whether someone like Danson steps up buys Latics he’d have his claws in both codes, shares in the rugby but in full control of the stadium and in prime position to take over the rugby then what happens to us ?.I think Sarbjot Johal would last 5 minutes. Once he realises he’d have to sell a million extra bottles of pop just to pay Wyke he’ll be back in for the cockle pickers.
At the end of the day these guys are business men. There’s far more riches to be made in football than rugby if you can do a Luton far more moneyAccording to Alan Myers three more interested parties have made enquiries regarding taking over, from this country and abroad.
No news on who but you have to hope and pray someone steps forward. Tbh I’ve seen clubs in far far worse position with less to offer than us but they keep afloat, it’s not like we’re 10’s of millions in debt.We must be the most unluckiest club on the planet. Over the past few years I keep hearing about clubs close to going bump but in that time we’d have had 3 owners, a lengthy adminstration and won a League One title.
I think we need to check the grounds not built on some old Roman graveyard
