Christ…..what another Cook shambles. F@@@@@@@ Lowe . Naismith at left back!! A left back on bench. No Garner yet again and Jacob’s starts. Just give up as to what runs through his addled brain. And I need another layer, westher not very pleasant. Here’s hoping for 3pts….
22 February 2020 at 9:09 pm #185231Looked OK to me pal. Be positive for once. Every week your negative. We are on a good run. Fact.
22 February 2020 at 9:26 pm #185233If you thought that was a good display you really are bereft of any idea . Grateful for 3 pts and nice not to give up a lead. Need to keep him in the stand more often. But his continual selection of Lowe and Jacob’s makes our task harder.1st half 1 effort on goal and Lowe was abysmal. Still your right we are picking up points so keeping tabs on those ahead but just wish he’d grow a pair attack wise.
22 February 2020 at 9:27 pm #185234Naismith played where he has played most of his games for us and as usual didn’t let us down.
We only ever play 1 up top and everyone says Moore is the best (i disagree)
Lowe…..i’ll give you that.
Great win. Balogbin (whatever) looks solid and I would probably pick him above Dunks.
WTF was Joffy doing in stoppage time trying to beat 2 men?? It’s little inexperienced things like that why he probably doesn’t get picked week on week.
22 February 2020 at 9:28 pm #1852351st half 1 effort on goalHow many efforts on goal did they have?
22 February 2020 at 10:12 pm #185242Granted …but was as poor as 1st half against Preston (easily the better of the two). We are at home, fighting the drop so should have them worrying about us. He’s just not brave enough. Mowbray had 4 academy players in the squad . Today they go to probably the best footballing side and set up to have a go. Rewarded with a 2 goal lead and at the end happy with a valuable point…..without talisman Dack. Cook would have set us up like at home to Preston. Look where Rovers /Preston sit….no 8 mill investment…..just braver, tactically superior managers.
22 February 2020 at 10:34 pm #185244First half we were in control and created chances. Moore missed a left foot volley I recall from a great cross in from the right for example. Second half we took a firm stranglehold on the game in tough conditions and got our just rewards. That’s one defeat in six games with 3 good victories. But fuck that. Let’s be negative. Cooks a fuckin joke. Teams shite. We are going down. Talk about glass constantly half empty!
22 February 2020 at 11:07 pm #185245You nailed that one ….he is a joke…..that’s why he’s sat in stand. Starts Lowe doesn’t he ??… He’s still the reason we are bottom 3…..all that went before won’t go away. Preston/Rovers…..see you failed to comment on their achievements.
22 February 2020 at 11:14 pm #185246Said this one before. Both are bigger clubs than us and given we average 9k fans we do pretty well punching above our weight. For every Preston and Blackburn (who incidentally average 40% more home fans than us) there’s a Sunderland and Portsmouth. I’m not that interested in other clubs to be honest but over the years I think we can all agree our success is perhaps unparalleled with our club size and continues to be. We have the second lowest attendances in the league and will struggle longer term to stay at this level I would imagine but we do our best. Lowe had a real hand in the goal I recall? Maybe watch it back later Delboy.
22 February 2020 at 11:36 pm #185247FFS. We win a game and people are still moaning
22 February 2020 at 11:44 pm #185248Apart from wanking off over a picture of an old car this fella moans on here week in and out. Told him months ago Cook wasn’t going anywhere but the daft get just moans and moans every week. Despite our recent good run it hasn’t changed sadly.
23 February 2020 at 12:24 am #185249We’ve been crying out for scruffy wins all season, and today was one of the scruffiest wins you could get. Am I bothered? Not in the least, I’d take a win like that every week til the end of the season.
We had a great 25 minute spell in the 2nd half, and even in the last 20 minutes when Millwall pushed us hard, we could and probably should have snatched a second.
The 1st half was as bad a game of football that I have seen in a while, but credit where credit is due, Cookys half time team talk worked as we were great in the 2nd half.
On the whole a great 3 points with some good individual performances, and fewer bad ones.
Perform like we have this last few weeks and we might just get our selves out of this mess and build for next season.
23 February 2020 at 1:08 am #185250It was a terrible game to watch but we won with a bit of luck for once. Nothing to moan effort wise, both centre halves were excellent.Form wise were a mid table team so more scruffy dour wins please. Cook in the stands we win. Coincidence?
23 February 2020 at 2:51 am #185251WTF was Joffy doing in stoppage time trying to beat 2 men?? It’s little inexperienced things like that why he probably doesn’t get picked week on week.
He’s a striker so possibly be was trying to score a goal.
What an idiot.23 February 2020 at 12:05 pm #185253No moaning here , this very important month is turning into the best run of the season.
Have to try and get a win at Reading and hope we don’t get stuffed next Saturday.
A win and draw would be brilliant stuff , glass is half full at Vincehill towers ! -
