You missed the figure out he put £2.5million into the rugby so as it stands he a share holder not an owner.

I’ve just read the thank you letter from the Whelan family to Mr Danson thanking him which is a very nice gesture.
Now I can’t thank Dave Whelan enough for everything’s he’s done for the club but a little part of me thinks,He would have watched the club he put so much I to and gave so much back simply die of a slow death and not intervened. I’m not sure with all that wealth I could have let that happen because without Danson stepping in at the last hour that’s exactly what would have happened, gone forever.
I’m not having a dig I just find it strange because as my Dad use to say
