I don’t think he’s injured. You’d think a player of his calibre would be in the running for a starting place, let alone a seat on the bench. His absence from the 17 is strange unless, of course, he is actually injured.
3 November 2014 at 2:24 pm #134858Call me old fashioned (cue Griff ;) ) but I go there to support and shout (when throat allows me) encouragement – I have been known to tut loudly at times. As LaticinLeigh said, the same team played the top of the league, at theirs, and beat them. We don’t see what goes on in the background so we (I for one) have to trust him for the time being; but if what this sad arse did constitutes support for the team then I am in the wrong stadium. So, we have something in common, after all. The supporting, shouting and tutting, I mean – not the old fashioned and dodgy throat bits.
3 November 2014 at 2:36 pm #134859You need to do your maths homework, fella.
4-4-2 innit?
Carson
Figs Ramis Barnett Tavs
McLean Forshaw Maloney McMabanan
Waghorn Riera
I grant you that this means no room for the current golden boys, Espinoza

It’s not a 4-4-2 if Maloney is playing just behind the striker. So you’ve got Maloney behind two strikers, with Forshaw as the sole central midfielder.(and Forshaw is also an atacking midfielder)
I’ll admit that side would be great going forwards, but we’d be hopelessly exposed in the middle.
Unfortuantely if you’re playing two strikers – something has to give: either one from the back or Maloney.
3 November 2014 at 6:14 pm #134862Well then Back in the day. Thank goodness some fans are starting to show some emotion about this mess created by Rosler. It is just not good enough. The football churned out is now even more of a bore than than that shite we had to endure under Martinez and his record is abysmal compared to Could. The team and tactics change more than my grundies and watching players struggle by playing out of position is getting beyond the joke. Fans have a right to show they are not happy with this mess created by Rosler. Its crap!!You don’t want promotion though as you prefer this league (as do I in some ways) so Rosler is doing a great job isn’t he?
3 November 2014 at 7:49 pm #134864It’s perfectly acceptable to play one attacking and one defensive midfielder in a 4-4-2, and I was led to believe from Bees fans that Forshaw was more of a defensive midfielder.
Of course, another way of playing to our strengths would be to pack our midfield and play a 3-5-2. I’d go for
Carson
Figs Barnett Ramis
McLean Forshaw Maloney Kwist McManaman
Riera Waghorn
Granted, the two Mcs may need to work on their tackling if they were to play wing back
3 November 2014 at 7:57 pm #134865Granted, the two Mcs may need to work on their tackling if they were to play wing backYou’re not kidding. We must have the angriest wingers in the game. Every challenge they make’s a potential red card

plagiarist!
3 November 2014 at 8:37 pm #134868Roger … Great goal, excellent assist, not bad for a headless chicken?
Kiernan … Keep reading he’s going to be a good one.. Love to know exactly what they base that opinion on?Espinoza played very well today and took his goal well, too. Get you rose tinted specs off though, he dropped a few bollocks as well. ;)
Fortune was MOM by a street in my opinion. Forshaw decent. Nothing much to say about any of the others.
You must mean that sublime “bollock” of a pass that Maloney scored from, whenever Espinoza make a mistake or gives the ball away he chases it down keeps going until he either wins it back or the pressure he creates allows someone else to do so, I wish golden boy McMananan did the same, he just stands there with his hands on his hips moaning while Roger and others clear his mess up.
McManaman will never be midfiled player as long as he has a hole in his arse so there’s no comparison. Quite why Rosler keeps playing him as one is a completely mystery. Every tackle he makes is a potential red card.
Wow, word for word too! I said the very words on Saturday so I’ll stick to that explanation rather than being victim to your subliminal implant ;)

Yep, I’d be happy to see that team starting a game.
3 November 2014 at 11:12 pm #134870Just for the record, Rosler brought Figs in on an emergency loan due to the injury crisis . He mentioned Boyce, two Taylor’s, Perch and Ramis at the time as all being out through injury. The Perch rumour is therefore a load of buncombe.
From Matlock to ManU

And that’s where your idea fails especially with respect to the younger of the two Mcs.
