Lost far too many sitting back particularly away. We all thrilled with the result Saturday but playing that set up at home will have blood boiling .Let’s be honest ….how lucky were we at Leeds? On another day we could have been on the end of a cricket score. Surely he has to start Garner/Moore and let them worry about us.Give Morsey the job to launch that niggling pest Pearson into the west stand. Remember him last season at deepdale clipping Powell from behind and ending his game. They’ve had some in and out results recently but seem to have got back on track so no good sitting back and letting them pass through us . …go for the throat and rough em up……we owe them a whacking.

On another day we could have been on the end of a cricket score. SurelyIn fairness, how many times this season have we been the better side only to come off the worst. I’ll gladly take that scruffy & ugly win in all honesty. In fact, I’ll take many more of them between now & the end of the season.
And dont call me Shirley.
9 February 2020 at 1:13 pm #184811I think you’ll stay up with room to spare. 8 of the last 10 games are against sides who will either be still around the bottom 3 or with nothing to play for. The advantage you have over Charlton (who IMHO will take the 3rd spot) is that you had the same relegation scrap last season and succeeded, so the players know how to stay up.
The challenge is then how to make sure you don’t repeat the season after. As we both know with disasterous consequences what happens when you are eventually relegated after years of hanging on by your fingernails.
Good luck!
9 February 2020 at 2:15 pm #184817Hope you watched that yesterday, particularly pre subs 65 mins to see with Cooks ineptitude what we are up against.

Nonsense. We were relegated last March
9 February 2020 at 2:22 pm #184822Take you enjoyed 1st 65 mins?…..Everyone I spoke to couldn’t believe his starting 11…those neutrals thought exactly the same. Frightened rabbit st 11….he’s just a loud mouthed, arrogant useless pile of dog dung……his booking proved what a clown he is.
9 February 2020 at 2:25 pm #184824No I didn’t. We were shit. Pretty sure thats the 3rd time ive said that.
If you were in charge, how would you react to those refereeing decisions including the lino at the south end of the ground giving a goal kick at the north end of the ground? Martinez used to get slagged off for saying nothing, coyle for sitting down, benson for being in the stands and now cook for being passionate. How should our manager react?
9 February 2020 at 3:05 pm #184830React with a modicum of class. His balls team selection puts him in a position to start blaming everyone ultimately results in a red. Stop blaming the ref.We were lucky we weren’t 4 down 1st half hr. Who selected the team ?…Was it you,me,the referee ?….He has to be held accountable.
9 February 2020 at 3:07 pm #184832He does hold himself accountable
9 February 2020 at 3:44 pm #184839Good…..then he should put club 1st and piss off asap.
10 February 2020 at 11:33 am #184888Yep ref lost us it Sat, what a comical pmsl remark that’s is.
It had nothing to do with:
Starting with 5 at the back,
3 defensive/holding midfielders,
Bringing Moore off leaving Lowe on,
Yep refs fault that. If Cook spent as much time in trying to rectify the sh1te he created as he did arguing with the 4th official we “might” have nicked a point.
But, that’s what sh1t clueless managers do and fans wearing Elton John rose tinted specs, point the finger elsewhere like a naughty child “Its not me its him !!!!”

Or how should he react to the defender who played everyone onside for their first goal by not keeping up with his fellow defenders?
Poor defending cost you the game not the officials.
10 February 2020 at 12:25 pm #184890Again…where do I say the ref cost us the game? I said I can understand why Cook gets booked because he was shit. I didn’t say he cost us the game.

Rightly or wrongly we started 5 at the back and they still had acres of space in and around our box and Pearson had all the time in the world. I dread to think what that would have looked like with 1 less defender and an extra attacker.
We had plenty of attacking positions but did nothing with them until Joffy and Jacobs came on. Whether that was because they changed the game or because they were 2 up and realised we wouldn’t get 2 if we played all day.
Playing 5 at the back, playing the useless Lowe and any other team selection complaint is not why we failed to string 2 passes together for an hour nor is it why they scored the goals they did. As Mutty says the 2nd goal was poor tracking back from Lowe but they still waltzed through FIVE defenders. Not sure how the blame for that can be thrown at Cooks door but then again with some he gets the blame for storm ciara.
He has plenty of faults though no doubt about that
