Last nights result gets more frustrating
13 February 2020 at 2:14 pm #185017I firmly believe we should be mid table now. We have won games DESPITE the manager and have certainly lost games BECAUSE of the manager. No matter the outcome of our season we should start next season with a new one.
Best one yet. Absolute belter.

Why?
Take it you disagree Stu?
Fundamentally the post had 3 points
We should be higher up the table and with better tactics, different team selection and most relevant the disasterous substitutions we could have been. Think most would agree?
Secondly Cook HAS cost us wins due to the above mentioned. Again think most would agree with that?
Thirdly and I think this was your issue that we have won despite Cook? Could argue that the very few we have won were down to luck(Birmingham/Leeds) individual players etc. Or maybe I can conceed he got it right for once.
13 February 2020 at 4:41 pm #185018changed my mind a bit last night , some very very poor teams in this division and there has been some very very bad luck this season, so many needless points tossed away
We are actually only 4 points worse off than at the same stage last year so some hope there also.
Watched Sheff Weds at Luton on TV last night and they were dreadful and easily beaten by a bottom 3 team. Was actually scratching my head as to how the are not wher we are!
surely going to be some teams dropping into it if we could only string another 2 wins back to back like the other week.
Garner and Joffey would be in the team every week for me and a return for Antonee (soon as !!!!) wouldnt go amiss either. Still some hope given how bad some of these teams actually are and they must be catchable if that game last night is anything to go by.13 February 2020 at 5:05 pm #185019I firmly believe we should be mid table now. Cook has cost us some points but so have the players. You could also argue he’s won us some with some changes (sheff weds) but that doesn’t fit the “cooks an idiot” agenda. To say we lose because of him but wins are nothing to do with him is a joke.
As for the squad being better than where we are I beg to differ. On paper back in August possibly. In stark reality….not good enough. Whether that is cooks fault, the budget we have or the scouts who knows.

Trouble is horc, against a pub team we’d dominate the game and pass it in front of them, miss the few chances we create and find a way to concede 2 goals.
14 February 2020 at 12:51 am #185028Saw Millwall on Sunday against West Brom and I agree they are a very average team.
We should be able to beat them a week on Saturday.
Some points to be picked up from those comfortable mid table sides with nothing to play for. -
