I am gonna estimate an attendance of between 40,000 and 46,000 for the semi !

60-70k, I reckon. I DO believe Wembley is too big for a semi final, unless you have two of the ‘top clubs’ playing each other. Our progress this season, and that of Millwall, makes a mockery of the FA’s ignorance in having the semi’s at Wembley. Perhaps in the future they will have a rethink? Or is it all about money? (It is, isn’t it? They can make more money out of having games at Wembley)

Villa Park would’ve been ideal for Wigan V Millwall, wouldn’t it? About 50,000 capacity, is it? Halfway between for both sides, too.[/quote]

The semi finals shouldn’t be at Wembley at all and nor should International friendlies.

Playing at the national stadium should be an honour reserved for those who have made a final or been lucky enough to be picked for a full International.

Move the friendlies around like when Wembley was shut and give the whole Country the chance to watch the national side. The last few at Wembley haven’t sold out IIRC.

Just be aware with the “£60 seats are best” mentality.

The lowest tier at Wembley is quite shallow in it’s incline. It has been designed like this because they actually have the ability to cover the seating and put in a temporary running track for athletics. (Honestly, I read this the other day)

I believe that if you are too near to the front, you will be up and down straining your neck with people in front doing the same.

I’ve gone for block 502, basically along the side, not far off the Royal Box. should be a decent view. £50 seats. Was tempted by the corner block of 505 as it looked a decent spanned view of the pitch on the Wembley website seat viewer. Only £40 there as well.

Just been down to the DW and changed my block 118 tickets row 7 to block 120 row 39. I’m in that little block that sits just underneath the first tier which is corporate only.

As someone said, the best seats will be available on the last day of sales. If you want to pay £60 like me, you will probably be bang on half way line block 122/3 by the time the general sale lot are done.

If they’re now selling block 120 that means sales in the £60 seats are good. That’s one of the last blocks we can see in the £60 seats.

I think we may get another 2 blocks, 121 and 122. The 60 dab tickets go all the way to block 127, but blocks 123 -127 will probably be Millwall. :woohoo:
