‘I know how these things work, but I’m not getting involved in a slanging match,’ he said. ‘All I will say is: How did Vic end up at Wigan, when he could have gone to Manchester City? Who took him to Wigan?
‘I’ve got a great relationship with Wigan, going back to Damien Francis, Nathan Ellington and Vic. They’re a great club to deal with.’
Victor if you need an example of what Whelan is trying to tell you then please refer to Nathan Ellington who quite frankly at the top of his game was twice the forward you are and now could not hit a cows arse with a banjo because he made the wrong move at the wrong time in his career.
22 June 2012 at 7:41 pm #89545I’ll second that from Salford Mon.
Anyone to concur ?
Let’s see how may we can get to concur, and demonstrate to Moses our strength of opinion on his career move.
22 June 2012 at 8:02 pm #89547William will, he’s always concurring. That’s why they call hime William the Concurrer! Coat on………………..
22 June 2012 at 8:49 pm #89548The move is motivated 100% by greed from player and agent. The agent gets a cut of the deal and Victor will at least double his wages while getting splinters from warming the bench.

23 June 2012 at 3:27 am #89551” your just crewe with a bit more cash ” lmfaoWithout clicking the link and reading just this quote, I’m guessing that they’re using the old uneducated comments that we bought our way to the Premier League despite spending far less than the clubs around us and spending less than £3m after promotion from the 2nd division to the Championship?

The usual gumpf, that we can’t fill our stadium, oh & we’re also a rugby town….Yawn.
23 June 2012 at 6:53 pm #89564Just sell him, he isnt even that good. We should be concentrating on Wigan Athletic, This isnt the Victor Moses show. Let him ruin his career and lets all laugh at the pair of them when he ends up back in the championship.

Net transfer in proceeds to fund higher NZogbia pay.
Easy !!

Not really phrases you normally see very close to one another. ;)

Every transfer window we had Charlie he was talking about us being a stepping stone and he would be open to offers. I can’t see him wanting to come back and I’m not 100% sure the club would want him back.
24 June 2012 at 2:44 am #89573Doubt we’d agree to N’Zogbia’s wage demands. He left for more money, so he’d hardly come back for less that what he’s currently on.

Enough of a team player to be recognised by his team mates and be awarded PLAYERS’ PLAYER OF YEAR (and Supporters Player of Year) for 2009-10. B)
Moses, (understandably) still has scope for development where his decision-making (and finishing) is concerned
e.g. West Brom (H), Bolton (A)…Rodallega nearly throttled him (refusal to pass to better-positioned team-mates) !!
Granted, getting Nzogbia back would be a tall order (maybe non-starter), but if it did happen (and Moses went), I wouldn’t be too disappointed.
To witness again the wonders of NZogbia e.g. Arsenal (3-2), WHU (3-2),
and Stoke (1-0, assist) …great moments !Topic certainly stimulated some debate …
