In all fairness we may have a ready made replacement in dicko.
tried to keep an eye on him when I could last season and seen a few comments on the net stating he must start the rest of the games for the season … Big shout considering the forwards they already had in the team.
With a frightening change of pace and an eye for goal I think he is going to be a really good player one day but I would love to see victor build on the latter part of last seasons form.
But saying that I think I would take 10 million….
I saw him in a reserve game last season & he was awful, although he wasn’t the only one
I spoke to a few Blackpool fans up that way towards the back end of the season & spoke to em about him – the general feeling was that you could tell he had a bit of class but was still some way of being ready for a starting XI berth in the championship & it’d be a good 2 or 3 years before they felt he’d be ready for the top flight – he’s only young so in all honesty I wouldn’t have expected any different comments but if Moses does leave this summer I don’t think there’s any way that Dicko is ready to step up
They certainly weren’t as glowing about him as they were about McManaman
…she paid the guy 50 quid entrance, agreed to receive 10 singing lessons on-line and drive to Scarborough for the next heat……..I said you bloody idiot. She cried and said well you won’t find another fool like me………
What! Took her money for singing lessons and expected her to drive to Scarborough. Fair, I don’t think so!
In response to micky c’s question:
Kevin langley
paul cook
ray woods
arry de zeuww
as players all came back for second spells either permanent or on loan.
Paul jewell & of course roberto came back for second spells as manager.
Bryan hamilton & ray mathias managed the club twice.
Tony Kelly came back for a shortwhile, and also Steve Bruce as manager.
The older posters might also remember one of my childhood heroes Johnny Rogers coming back for a second spell.

We are always going to have to take a chance on someone if Moses leaves….
If that is Dicko, Crusat or a new signing its always going to be a gamble.
But like I said what I have seen of Dicko he was a very good player for them especially coming off the bench towards the end of the game so in my current state of my mind I would see Crusat playing right of the three forwards with Dicko being used as an impact sub with McManaman being used as the back up left forward for Maloney.
It is early days though to be talking about that with no signs of what players are coming in…
I fail to see the point in your comparison of McManaman though as you would surely class him as a left winger and Dicko as a right winger

As much as I like Victor I’d go and help him pack if someone bid 10mill, he’s not as good as he and his agent think he is IMO.[/quote]
Let’s say, for arguments sake Moses listen’s and take’s his agent’s advise, leaves Wigan for Chelsea for around 8-10 million + £40,000 a week.
The chances of Moses playing regular 1st team football will be highly unlikely. What Moses will gain will be ,money, experiance training with top players, and a couple of carling cup games to boot.
then Moses goes on loan ? , still get’s his 40k a week so he’s not arsed , 2 years down the line his agent says ” it’s not working let try get you a move.
Moses might get a loan of some sort to a championship club while still making his 40k a week so keeping him in the shop window.
Now Moses in this time has made a good few million , and a big club name on his CV even though he’s done ball all but all at the club the same looks good and a move to a championship or newly promoted prem club happens for another good screw for him and his sucking partner Tony .
My point is, this is all mapped out in his agents head for the next 4 years were Moses will be and all the time the pair make money. They both are in it to make money and for Moses ? i can’t blame him. When people say , “he owe’s wigan” does he sheite, we make a good screw for a couple of years work, a good return in my eyes for the unfinished article.
I always remember Stephen Ireland saying about City training ground when he left, 16-17 lads walking round with £20,000 rolex’s who have never been in the first team and probably will never play in the prem.
If your lucky you have 10 years to make your fortune and if it were me I’d be learning chinese right now and be sat next to Drogba on a plane.
Good luck Moses ,the king is dead , long live the king .

All this is planned by the Agent.. the words below…
‘I know how these things work, but I’m not getting involved in a slanging match,’ he said. ‘All I will say is: How did Vic end up at Wigan, when he could have gone to Manchester City? Who took him to Wigan?
Vic ended up at Wigan because….
Finnegan gets a share of the selling fee and say its 20 % etc . we pay Palace 2.5 million and Finnegan knows quite well that if Moses makes it at Wigan he will be sold for 10 million etc and his share now becomes huge.
If Moses signed for City or any other big club straight from Palace then thats the end of the money go round for Finnegan..
So yes Finnegan we know why he signed for Wigan you Tosser !!!
