The figure of 8,500 Latics season ticket holders was posted on a Wigan Athletic fan site which no longer seems to be running.
I don’t see why those fans would make that figure up but I’d still be surprised if it were true, they could have been misinformed as it seems very unlikely to see such a huge drop.

It depends on which side of the Martinez fence you’re speaking to. Those on the darker side will tell you it’s a realistic figure as they’ve got loads of mates who didn’t renew season tickets out of protest. (‘Loads’ usually equates to 2 or 3)
I tend to think the figure will still be above the 10k mark.
Anyroad following plenty of eggmen comments on here about the depth of young talent in the ranks how come they are after another Aussie (foreigner)

Why would i know the score? I was watching paint dry today, thats another sport that gets the same amount of coverage that R.L. does! ;)
