Hopefully.
Boyce – Gohouri – Bramble (c) – Figueroa is my ideal backline.
Could change Gohouri for that new fella depends on their respective World Cups. Although as of now I would tend to agree with you.
I wouldn’t be suprised if Figueroa has moved on come the start of the new season.[/quote]
I wouldn’t think may clubs will be clammering for Maynor’s signature after the season he’s had. One wonder goal a few half decent games in addition to playing for most of the season in the prems most charitable back four, even “Broosie” will probably run scared.
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!19 May 2010 at 8:47 pm #34067According to reports Wigan Athletic are taking an interest in Borussia Dortmund and Paraguay forward Nelson Valdez.
The 26 year old striker joined Dortmund from Werder Bremen in 2006 where he had spent five seasons making 113 appearances and scoring 31 goals for the Bundesliga club, in his time with current employers he has made 112 appearances scoring just 16 goals.
Valdez has Champions League experience with Werder Bremen and he has also made 42 international appearances for Paraguay scoring 8 times.

No, were still linked with 3 more Hondorans, lets see how they deal with el español19 May 2010 at 9:20 pm #34078Anonymous
That’s the type of strike rate I’d expect from a midfielder. Then again, look at Jason Scotland’s strike rate before he joined us. Strike rates can be deceiving.
The reason why most players who are free are free is because their clubs don’t think they are good enough to renew their contract. We should be looking at another Roda type deal for a few mil.
19 May 2010 at 9:28 pm #34079Dont Borussia Dortmund have the 2nd or 3rd highest average attendance in world football – behind Barca ?
Sure he wont mind the DW with 14,000 on, on a wet Tuesday night in February. ;)

We don’t know how good a player is until he puts on a Latics shirt.
Not much was expected of Pascal ‘Who’ Chimbonda and Wilson ‘Brimingham Reserve’ Palacios.
19 May 2010 at 9:55 pm #34081What about Jordi ‘get a haircut’ Gomez, he wasn’t to bad against Hull City.
But Oliver ‘clogs up the wage bill’ Kapo has to go sometime soon.
19 May 2010 at 9:59 pm #34082Wouldn’t mind this guy at the club aslong as he is a proven goalscorer

That’s partly true, every player should be judged before we buy them but if we do sign anyone I’ll get behind them.
