Finally the wages have been paid 2.5 weeks late with a promise that this won’t happen again from Talal.
There will be a restructuring of staff which is a posh word for redundancies and prove of funds has already been shown to the EFL.So is that it ?, a simple sorry and we move on with no simple explanation ?. I’m sorry but although it’s our best option I cannot trust them.
Once? Yeah, twice ?, Ok ok, three times ? What’s going on four times ? You having a laugh but the fifth time after the same promise from Talal ? Na I simply cannot trust them anymore, I want to but I cant16 May 2023 at 11:13 am #199668Double post deleted
16 May 2023 at 11:36 am #199670I’m of same opinion. On the rare occasion his lips move it’s usually placate the masses Bull shit. All my trust in them completely gone. More invisible money set aside (proof?????). Would like a statement from the Efl to confirm or deny this. New ,trust worthy, sensible, business proficient owners would be all my wet dreams, birthdays and Christmas’s rolled into one. Unfortunately until then ,if ever we are stuck with them living hand to mouth dreading the next potentially fatal calamity usually every 4 weeks !!!
16 May 2023 at 6:19 pm #199671The club statement says “the EFL has visibility of this amount”
As per Mr B above, we’re none the wiser whether the EFL have accepted it. We’re not much further forward until we hear from the EFL about further penalties and/or restrictions.
16 May 2023 at 6:51 pm #199673I hope they come out and explaine it all to us eventually but not holding my breath
In first place if it was not for talal ,I wonder where we would be maybe no club at all
So I’ll wait see what happens next few weeks
Changes to the board could be an interesting one to see what happens
I’ll still not knock the owners I’ll wait and see first16 May 2023 at 10:24 pm #199676Lambert is an interesting temp appointment and a step foward. I’m not sure how they can gain the trust of the fans without some kind of explanation.
It doesn’t need to be an in-depth report just a few bullet points as to why he promised this last time and it still happened again.
Like I said I’m glad their here but it doesn’t mean I trust them, far from it, well not till I’ve heard why16 May 2023 at 10:24 pm #199677Lambert is an interesting temp appointment and a step forward. I’m not sure how they can gain the trust of the fans without some kind of explanation.
