Get your FA CUP tickets early boys and girls, possibly only getting 3k for the game City fans are sitting in their usual season ticket seats for the game and bragging we`ll only need a minibus for our fans .FACT they have bought the tickets in there end already, so much for 10% of the gate for FA CUP games.

The entitlement is 15% (unless of course you are playing Arsenal and might have a chance of beating them)

However, if an away side insists on their 15%, then the home club is perfectly within their rights to demand payment for those seats in advance.

It may be that WAFC doesnt believe they’ll sell 6900 tickets, and have accepted a 3000 allocation.

Wigan Athletic at the Etihad; Tickets will go on sale to 2013/2014 home season ticket holders from 9am on Tuesday 25 February 2014 (one ticket per valid season ticket).

Lower Tier (reserved seating behind the goal)
      Adults £20.00
      Over 65 years £15.00 Young Adults (16-21 years) £15.00 Under 16 years £5.00
Ambulant/Disabled (include free carer if eligible) £15.00

For their cup tie at the Etihad, Chelsea received an allocation of 6149 tickets, in both the Upper and Lower Tiers.

      Upper Tier Adults – £27.50
      Lower Tier Adults – £25.00

Even then, City couldn’t quite sell all their own tickets.

Very odd. Wigan haven’t stated the size of our allocation. There’s no reason why Manchester City should offer us less than they offered Chelsea. Could Wigan have turned down the rest? That doesn’t seem likely.

With all their matches – Premier League/Champions League/League Cup/FA Cup – City have been finding it difficult to fill the ground. For the League Cup semifinal against West Ham, they didn’t even open all the stands (Attendance 30,381).

City usually reserve six blocks for away fans.
      Lower tier 113/114/115
      Upper Tier 213/214/215
These upper tier seats aren’t allocated to season ticket holders.

Perhaps there will be an announcement to confirm how many tickets we have been allocated.

      From City official site:

Supporters registered on the FA Cup Scheme for the 2013/14 season are advised that block 116, and some of blocks 117 and 216 in the South Stand will be unavailable for this fixture, due to the extended visitor allocation. Please see ‘Seat Relocation’ information below.

just letting people know Garswood, City fans have purchased tickets in block 117 already, so we are not getting our full allocation so get in early.

        3000 is more than enough :) ;)

Hardly likely to apply to Sunderland then, is it?

I went down at half 8 this morning and there were only 6 people there. By the time i left there were about 50 or so. I believe weve been given about 4500,2500 in the lower and 2000 in the upper. The upper will go on sale if and when the lower sells out.

I think Mutty might end up a bit gutted but hey ho :P Just pop this back on that City board Grump. At least the FA Cup and the good run has gone some way to dismissing the ‘Wigan have shite support’ myth. Cardiff were full of praise last week, best they’ve seen this season, and that sums it up, success sees good vociferous followings. No different to any other club big or small.

Only upper tier tickets remain as fans snap up Man City FA Cup tickets.

The club can announce that sales of Wigan Athletic’s allocation of tickets for the FA Cup Quarter Final against Manchester City on Sunday March 9 are now approaching the 2,000 mark.

With the lower tier of the away end at The Etihad Stadium now fully sold out, only upper tier tickets remain, priced at £22.50 for adults.

The tickets are currently on sale to season ticket holders only, and will be on general sale to supporters with a previous booking history from 9.00am on Friday 28 February.
