If the bottom tier holds 2000 what does does the top tier hold ?
26 February 2014 at 9:03 pm #127829I went down at half 8 this morning and there were only 6 people there. By the time i left there were about 50 or so. I believe weve been given about 4500,2500 in the lower and 2000 in the upper. The upper will go on sale if and when the lower sells out.For some reason, Wigan have been a little coy about the number of tickets and the location of the seats.
At the Etihad, away fans usually have about half of the seats in the South Stand – the right hand side as you look towards the goal. The stand has two tiers – and City plan to construct a third.

Balsa pop up.
27 February 2014 at 3:33 pm #127893The club wish to remind season ticket holders that today is the final chance to purchase tickets for next weekend’s FA Cup Quarter Final against Manchester City before any remaining tickets go on general sale.
There are currently less than 1,000 tickets left of the club’s allocation.
Should any tickets remain at the end of today, they will go on general sale to buyers with a previous purchasing history at the DW Stadium, from 9.00am, tomorrow, Friday 28 February.

27 February 2014 at 9:48 pm #127901Will be a good turnout then.4500 aways fans defo a sellout for our end. ;)
27 February 2014 at 10:03 pm #127905Their are only about 400 tickets left for general sale tomorrow but it is personal callers only no phone or internet and it is only 2 tickets per person
28 February 2014 at 12:23 am #127909Why didn’t we ask for full allocation? Other teams got over 6k but we go for the minimum as usual. Am sure we could have taken more given the chance!
28 February 2014 at 12:37 am #127911I think you’re probably right.
It’s a big game against a good team. The Etihad is an attractive stadium within easy reach. And the tickets are reasonably priced. We’ve built up a good away following too. I wonder if City will sell all their tickets.
Let’s hope it’s a good day out.
28 February 2014 at 1:11 am #127914If we had got the full 6k then we would need to pay for them all up front getting different allocations means the tickets are sale or return.but roughly 4k is a good following
28 February 2014 at 1:24 am #127915We`ll still out sing 30,000 manc`s with WE ARE THE FA CUP CHAMPIONS (oops not going there). :woohoo:

We’ve sold 4,000 in 3 days, and the game is still 10 days away. And people can now buy two tickets each. Perhaps we could have could have sold 6,000.
