Looked quite shite but just kept grafting away. They found space and exploited our weaknesses.
Our style of play did not tire them lot out tonight.
Granted our sloppy football gave it away when we should have been on course for a five or six niller.
A win on Saturday and that’s seven pts out of nine.
Positives tonight. A little more urgency in the first half. Vukick and McCann. Griggs relentless hard work.13 January 2016 at 2:22 am #146639Griggs looked to be carrying an injury for the last quarter of an hour or so. We’ll miss him if it keeps him out. For all that criticise Perkins for doing nothing, I think you found out tonight exactly what he does for the team.

Their ‘keeper was their best player by far. Should have been well over at half time. Granted it should at 3-0 too but we’ve stolen points in games this year so swings and roundabouts.

Absolutely!! Once perkins went off we completely lost our shape. Player of the season (so far) that mon.
13 January 2016 at 2:55 am #146643Perkins was a big miss when he went off, great tonight. Cowie never got into the game and no idea what he was thinking for that back pass?
I thought first half we were great, first 10mins looked to be the same old but kicked on and made Sheffield utd look worse than they are. Our second goal was brilliant.
Think the subs changed the game in utd’s favour.13 January 2016 at 2:56 am #146644Personally I thought we started to lose the plot when Vukcic went off (I’m not saying Wildschut shouldn’t have come on, by the way, just that Vukcic should have stayed on)
13 January 2016 at 2:57 am #146645Very disappointing not to win that game after being 3-0 up with just over 20 minutes to go even though we were playing with 10 men for the entire game.
13 January 2016 at 2:58 am #146646The problem tonight was he should have swapped striker like for like. Vuckic for Hiwula. Went from 2 up front to 1 with Wildschut and Jacobs wide. Thus letting them push further up the pitch. Nowt to do with Perkins. The sooner we get two midfielders with some quality the sooner we can drop Perkins and power.
Barnett is a liability. First 15 mins gave the ball away 5 times.
Cowie… Well what a load of shit caused the third goal. Grigg should have scored off yanks cross near the end, worked his balls off though.13 January 2016 at 3:04 am #146647Very disappointing not to win that game after being 3-0 up with just over 20 minutes to go even though we were playing with 10 men for the entire game.Who is the missing player you refer to?

I’m surprised you ask. Describing him as a liability is being kind.

First half he was shockingly bad, calamitous.. But thought he wasn’t as bad in the second half.
Jacobs didn’t do much tonight, can only recall one good cross from him and that was with a little help from the ref. so thought you might have been referring to him.13 January 2016 at 3:19 am #146650“However a lot of the players that played tonight, if I was them, I would be worried about my place.”
Who gets the chop then?

13 January 2016 at 3:44 am #146652Nothing to do with perkins going off another bad decision by Caldwell when James came on he should of gone straight to left back and put Mcann cent midfield and replaced vudik with Jordi instead of the useless cowie. Also I wouldn’t of put yanic on tonight.
13 January 2016 at 10:25 am #146655Good point about James. Not that impressed with him yet but why play him out of position. Good job McCann can adapt to playing out of position. We have problems though on the flanks.Desperate for a decent right sided wing half and then Daniels could play in position but not much is coming from the left flank either, so what can we do there?
