Got our tickets. Can’t wait!
Looking forward to us winning, and also seeing the Iron. If I was a Londoner, West Ham would be my club. Shouldve stayed at the Boleyn, though. Sold the clubs soul down the river.
Cracking cup tie!
Would they still be your favourite London club had we been relegated instead of Sheffield United?[/quote]
Had we been relegated, it’s because we weren’t good enough to stay up. It was winner takes all that day, and we won. Simple as that. You get relegated for a reason. You haven’t won enough games. Fact.
Lovely jubbly.
25 January 2018 at 4:35 pm #165459There is a bar near our hotel who shows all West Ham games so I’m hoping to see the game from afar. Just have to sit still and keep quiet be a bit hard mind if we score.Nah, you’ll be alright mate. Hammers fans are alright. You’ll have a good craic. Never had a problem either here or on holiday. Went in the Boleyn at Upton Park too, when Frank Macavennie was holding court.
Sweet as.
25 January 2018 at 4:52 pm #165463Weren’t the Inter-City Firm Hammers?
A real viscious lot they were. And I can’t imagine they personally don’t still go to Hammers games.
And wasn’t Green Street about West Ham.
I’ve always found them to be a nasty bunch.25 January 2018 at 5:41 pm #165466Got our tickets. Can’t wait!

West Ham broke the rules and were successfully sued by Sheffield United.
The chair of the tribunal, Lord Griffiths, judged: “We have no doubt that West Ham would have secured at least three fewer points over the 2006-07 season if Carlos Tevez had not been playing for the club.”Without Tevez West Ham weren’t good enough to stay up. They gained an unfair advantage by fielding an illegible player which would normally result in a club being docked points.
25 January 2018 at 5:55 pm #165469Horrible club. Horrible fans. Horrible place. Loved sending them down.

They weren’t good enough, that is why they illegally signed 2 players.
EDIT – And got away with it.
25 January 2018 at 8:01 pm #165478West Ham stoping up had more to do with Man Utd not bothering to turn up for the last game against them.
25 January 2018 at 8:15 pm #165480West Ham stoping up had more to do with Man Utd not bothering to turn up for the last game against them.Quite possibly so but just remind me again who scored the goal in their 1-0 win.
25 January 2018 at 8:31 pm #165481Without Tevez that game wouldn’t have even mattered.
25 January 2018 at 8:32 pm #165483Weren’t the Inter-City Firm Hammers?
A real viscious lot they were. And I can’t imagine they personally don’t still go to Hammers games.
And wasn’t Green Street about West Ham.
I’ve always found them to be a nasty bunch. It was the 80s….most clubs had a firm back then. Chelsea, Spurs, United, City, Liverpool, Everton…it was rife. The ICF…people such as Cass Pennant and Bill Gardner.
They probably do still go to games and now sit in corporate doing champagne and a three course dinner. My mate knows Andy Nicholls, and that’s what he does at Everton now.
Green Street was just a made up, unrealistic film.
Never had a problem with them, but each to their own.And as I said before, any team that gets relegated, does so because their manager, players, have been shite all season. Nobody goes down unluckily,
You go down because you are shite.
25 January 2018 at 8:35 pm #165484Deffo still happens at West Ham. See their opening few months at the new ground.
25 January 2018 at 8:55 pm #165490My tickets arrived this morning

Good point there Sammy, forgetting Tevez scored, I still say though if Man Utd needed to win that game to clinch the title West Ham would of been relegated. The Utd players were on holiday that day and showed complete disrespect to ourselves and Sheffield Utd.26 January 2018 at 12:44 am #165506For those who can’t make it and got IPTV, the game is live on fox sports 2HD.
From Matlock to ManU
