Do we remove another manager?.Can we afford to ?Absolute shit show. Why does he persist with Power?….Why is Fletcher not returning to Watford to free up some money ? What the F### was he thinking signing Azeez ?Lightweight, no pace, not interested in trying a tackle or two. Promises of squad strengthening now 22 days in and 3 out 3 in. Humphries still on our payroll but he’d rather have Fletcher!!! Gelhardts much publicised loan deal now probably out the window after that performance. Why would any manager with more than 1 brain cell allow Toure to get his hands on him ?? The striker from Burtons transfer now probably in the bin. Who would want to come here at present ? Luton never had to break sweat to win comfortably. Two Tilt,Caulker gifts combined with our total lack of game plan made for yet another painful watch. With him in charge I fear a real 6 goals and above drubbing could be imminent when we now face Burnley, Norwich, Sheffield, Watford etc,etc…..These kind of performances wouldn’t keep us in league 1. Who knows what the owners future plans really are ? Whether they have money or not or just want out. One thing I’ve realised finally after giving Toure the benefit of doubt is that he and his coaches are woefully out of their comfort zone. The management at our club have made an expensive blunder. What were they thinking appointing such a novice at a relegation candidate club with threadbare finances ? I can’t believe Brannigan with his wealth of experience bought into this appointment . What we do now is down to the owner and management. Time is running out but I now think we need to remove this management team and find a manager like Blackpool have with a wealth of experience to try give us a fighting chance of survival in this league or the one below next season.

It will be the last straw when they sell the ground to Pollard & the Eggs. Not far off happening !

It’s a shambles from the manger, players, tactics. There will be no easy fix.
Caulker any better than Whatmough? No
Tiehi any better than Naylor ? No
Fletcher any better than Humphrys? No. My point is, we needed to bring in players to improve the squad. Alls we’ve done is replace like for like.

We have the likes of Wyke and Cousins drawing a wage offering nothing.
Max Power not good enough, McClean legs have gone. Kolo have a monumental task but the way he organized us yesterday was jaw droppingly bad.
When he came I thought, he’ll galvanize the side, organise the side better and even if the players aren’t good enough he’ll make us super hard to beat. What I saw Saturday is the polar opposite. It’s unbelievably so disjointed in every department it’s frightening, it’s like watching Joyce2 the sequel.

I’m not sure how anyone can sort this mess out. A good manager having lost Tuesday would have a game plan but Clark for Luton shut us down on his own.
I hope the owners and manager have a masterplan and pull a rabbit out the bag but I personally feel Kolo has took on a job far bigger than he ever envisioned.

I heard a rumour, a guy told me he was talking to some of the backroom staff. They told him the mood in the changing room is awful. No joking chit chat total silence everyone just sat there.
Do I want to see the manager sacked ? No
Do I want to go down ? No
Do I think we’ll go down ? Yes

Theres a conundrum I cannot solve but I hope our owners can. I read Mick McCarthy applied for the job. Now he might not be everyone cup of tea but I’m sure he would have organised us far far better regardless of the quality of player he has available.
Kolo came to us with glowing reports in the coaching department, again I stress coach. But after watching the way we set up in our games since his arrival I’m struggling to to see any tactics.
I think we have to face the awful truth were going down. With a few days left we’d need 7-8 players bringing in and been realistic that ain’t never gonna happen

          I agree with you CW.
Now we have to wait 2 weeks before the next humiliation.
For me this is the lowest of the low, as a Latics fan of 55 years standing.

Add our management selection to the ongoing recruitment and the EFL’s points decision……..we are becoming a laughing stock. I can’t for the life of me get our recruitment…..no stronger . Important Jan fixtures now gone and I for one struggle to see us winning any time soon. As CW said we need a few players in ASAP but with 22 days gone I think that train is leaving the station. Wonder what Humpfries and Mc Grath did to pee 2 managers off ?

I think my lowest of the low was when we were at the bottom of the league just before Dave Whelan came in. My biggest worry is we are in the same position now as when the Chinese were in control. We are waiting for the monthly bills to be paid from someone who is out of the Country. We don’t know what his plans or ambitions are for the club. The finances are obviously not there to sustain us as a Championship club. The UK Directors ( just like Darren Royle ) seem unable or unwilling to keep the fans updated so you get the rumour mill in full swing with stories of them wanting to sell up ,selling the ground to the rugby etc. We need them to clear the air and tell the fans exactly what is going on.
I think the fans have been brilliant by the way. Over 10,000 home fans yesterday in a season where we are getting used to seeing defeat after defeat at home , great loyalty .I really hope the club does not drive those fans away.

We are the slowest team in the Championship. We have no width and no midfielder who can try and control things. No left back, and two forwards who have the identical game play.
It’s blatantly obvious to everyone but it’s not been addressed. Id sooner see young Luke Robinson thrown in at left back with both Pearce and Bennett knackered.

Were like a 50 plate car that’s been patched up with cheap parts for 2 years but it’s now got to the point it needs scrapping off as it’s non repairable.

Like we did in admin it’s time to dip into the youth system for 1 or 2 young lads. Some might say their not ready but Richardson would have never played Hughes.
Cze, Stones are a few that come to mind. They can’t be any fcukin worse than these lot right now !!

It’s time for one or two Scully needs to be given a chance. Robinson should have been dragged back considering we have no left back at all. Then I read Stones might be sent out on loan while were heading down. He’s good enough for Ross County or Kilmarnock but not good enough for his own struggling club and Jordan Jones scores a last minute winner yesterday, give me fcukin strength!!.

But for me the main position is a midfielder a ball player. Someone who can control it.
I’m just shocked at Kolo’s ineptness to get the best out our players. Just make them hard to break down by simple “work as a unit” tactics.
If the changing rooms gone he’s fcuked up down and sideways

Just as a pointer to our slow aging side let’s look at Blackburn:

16 of Blackburn’s 30 man squad is 24 and under. They’ve only 2 players in their squad 30 and over. Keeper Kaminski 30 and Ayala 32.
Jack Vale who started up front is 21. Buckley and Morton in midfield are 23 and 20, 11 players are 21 and under.

We have 13 players aged 29 and above and a large chunk of these currently start or would start if fit.
We have 14 players under the age of 24, only a handful would be ever be considered for a match day squad the rest are never considered.

Blackburn are hit n miss but like 4th
                      We are rock bottom
Blackburn are relying on youth, hunger, pace and as each game goes by these Young’s lads gain valuable Championship experience.

We reply on experience aging players and it’s not working. Shall we try to integrate some more youth like we did with Hughes ?.

Well it’s clearly paying off for Blackburn. To think we e had a superb youth set up and we never play them is disgusting

I thought Toure was going to review our players out on loan. Has he ? or is he just taking previous management backroom staffs opinions ? How can McGrath,Humphries,Robinson,Jones be worse than what we currently persevere with ? As for Scully that really is mind boggling. Can’t get in the squad and when he did in the cup didn’t get on. Would love an explanation from Toure as to why we keeping him out,why Fletcher is preferable to Humphries ? .If our transfer business is really stalling then it surely makes sense to bring some back, evenif it’s just more options.

Always thought that McGrath was half decent. Similar to Shinnie, if you play him out of position he’ll look sh*t but put him him the position he plays best he looked to me he could be the answer to our attacking mid.
When Shinnie arrived for some unknown reason only LR could explain he asked Shinnie to sit deep and he was awful to say the least, the exact same happened to McGrath then Saturday he scores a worldy overhead kick.
The killer for me is bringing in the likes of Azeez. A 20 year old with little or no experience who watched the game fly by over the likes of Aasgaard a far more experienced player at this level.

No one can come on here and tell me we haven’t got some young kid just as good who could do better ?. As for Fletcher?, I’m baffled to the high hills as to why he’s first on the team sheet I would like to hear Kolo’s explanation on that one.

Why when we’ve no pace what so ever do we not give one or two of these young lads 10-15 here and there I’m mystified and do not tell me their not ready like Hughes.

Well based on the performances since November if Kolo honestly thinks half a dozen of them will keep us up he needs change whatever meds he’s on cause he must be on brain blockers.

Agree about Scully, mind boggler not one but two managers so something’s been said for sure.

                          Kolo listen up pal
Add some pace into the starting 11 were pedestrian like and McClean couldn’t go past me. Everytime we lump it up then watch it come back, we couldn’t break a KitKat nevermind a back 3-4

Kolo, widemen, do you not like width to try and get in behind and service Fletcher or Magennis. Everything’s through a midfield that offer nothing going forward.

Kolo, add some youth, hunger, desire, I don’t mean swamp it, integrate them, you never know you might get another shock like Hughes,

Kolo, drop Power when he’s not playing well. It seems to all however he plays he’s in regardless, never subbed.

Kolo, pull back a couple of loanees or is it a simple case they don’t wanna be here. Currently we’ve no left back not a one. If you think McCleans a left back you deluded. Drag Robinson at Tranmere back and get him thrown in he’ll learn quick enough.

I highlighted in my earlier the comparison between us and Blackburn age wise so why not give Stones a go or Sze.
We’ve had a very good youth system at a club for a good few years unearthing some young talented but for one reason or other we’ve never seen them reach their potential with us and I’m also talking well before admin.

This club is for me a shambles going down the nick once again and I’m sure we’ll be calling on the like of Stones and Sze to bail us out at some point

Not to play to sell when giving them a chance might just possibly get us out the sh*t were in

End of a rant I think most on here will agree with bar our club
