Still an international striker for Liberia and George Weah’s cousin, Had loan stints at Birmingham and AEK Athens, Most recently been playing for the likes of Bishops Stortford and Buckingham Town in the Conference North and United Counties Leagues respectively.

Exactly what impact did either of these players have on the English game? And i dont see the relevance of you stating prior he played for porto and barca… Yes i know that so obviously he came with a massive reputation and then did nothing for Chelsea… Exactly my point.
And Veron the same okay he went on to play for Chelsea and Inter but i dont believe he played any massive parts in each team.

Adrian Mutu: Hit the ground running at Chelsea, cocaine got the better of him though.
Dong Fangzhou: Blink-and-you-miss-it Man Utd striker tipped as a world beater.
Ali Dia: Not sure if he counts but I’m sure we’ve all heard the story.
Fernando Morientes: Does he count? Came to England with a deservedly high reputation, has fallen off the face of the earth since.
Marco Boogers: Supposed to be a wonder boy at West Ham, went missing and was found hiding in a caravan in Holland or something. He needs hide and seek lessons off Osama.
Steve Marlet: £11 million Fulham signing off 2001, think I’m right in saying he did next to nothing and was released on a free a few years after.
Francis Jeffers: Not sure if he just ‘disappeared’ but was supposed to be a world beater at Everton/Arsenal, now a free agent following a release from Motherwell.

Patrick Kluivert: Top class striker at Barca, total sh1te sub at Newcastle.

Duke im glad you agree, i like a couple of your choices, in particular Dong and Marlet. Ali Dia was a funny story, Even funnier because Souness was taken in by him. Surely he must have known in training he was dump.
